Mari's POV
It's been two days since he woke up.
The day after, he was out of the hospital and him being an Alpha he is now working his butt off in his office and if I mean working his butt off, he hasn't eaten, slept but I think, he sleeps in his office even showered for the past few days.
"Adrien, you should come down to eat and take a shower. You were recently in the hospital and now you're not taking care of you're own health!" I said. I bang the other side of the door.
"Go away, who are you to take care of me?!" He said coldly as he opened the door.
"Well I am you're mate. I care about you and you're health Adrien Agreste." I said seriously. I took a step closer to him.
"Well just go away. You're a burden to me already!" He snapped as he close the door with so much force, luckily my face wasn't hit but my ears might have been.
"Fine but if you come blaming me, for not taking care of you. I will runaway as far as I can even if that means to stay at my old pack and never come back in this palace." I said.
I was forced to come here to take care of him. Despite from him being hard headed idiot, I don't mind taking care of him this past few days. I even wondered why still I love him until now.
"HAH! Not like you'll escape from me. I have doubled the guards ever since I know you'll be this stubborn." He yelled angrily. I sighed.
I walked away from the door. It's no use but I would not gave up easily.
Few minutes later~
I heard glass shattered and some things that were thrown.
I went to the direction, where the noice cause it was in Adrien's office.
I opened the door, finding Adrien throwing things everywhere. Vase shattered, papers scattered, the coffee table in his office was flipped over.
"A-adrien, are y-you okay?" I asked nervously. This was freaking me out, I think the pain in his head is active now. It happens often but it won't reach to this, where everything is broken.
"GET OUT!" He shouted but he didn't looked at me. I looked at his body. I noticed his hands were swollen and were dripping blood everywhere.
"A-adrien you're-" I was interrupted.
"I SAID GET OUT, I DON'T F*CKING CARE IF THEY ARE BLEEDING, GET OUT OR ELSE I WON'T HESITATE TO KILL YOU ON THE SPOT!" He shout in rage. I was so scared, that I couldn't move. I was terrified of him, he changed but I won't give up. I just went out in tears.
I was scared. I walked to my bedroom and cried. I know I am a crybaby but I was really scared to the point where I want to run away as far as I can and never return.
