Day 59, May 7th
I was siting in a tree with a bow I was given by a librarian in the town, she was really nice. Miss More always new what books I would be interested in and would let me read them. She got the bow from her father and gave it to me, there is a wolf print carved in the wood above the twine hand grip. I heard a odd sound in the distance. A mix between a howl and a scream. I've been in the woods a long time and knew every sound but that was a new one. It was far off so I just decided to stop hunting and go home with a belt full of my usual load from this new territory. A belt full of rabbits and squirrels and sometimes even a turkey. We learned the town was called Roosevelt which was pretty far from where me and Dylon originally started. I do sometimes wonder how mom is doing with the kids and what my dad feels in prison. It's a brief thought, followed by the memories of abuse which make me hate them more. Dylon has started to trust me more but I refuse to let him leave the cabin in fear something will happen to him. He comforts me when I'm down and let's me open up to him. I tell him everything, I trust him with more then just my life, I trust him with my secrets.
