Namikawa was on one knee in front of Midou. His long, black hair hung perfectly around the mahogany dress shirt he was wearing. Namikawa's eyes were glistening with hope and love. His heart raced as he stammered out his words.
"Shingo Midou, every day I'm with you is a day I can count on surviving. You bring me a sense of peace, even though with you, there is never a dull moment." Okay, Namikawa thought to himself. He could hear his heart pounding in his head. It's time for the big question. Midou was blushing quietly, smiling. "Shingo, my dear, love me, that's all I ask of you." Namikawa pulled out a small, square box covered with black velvet and opened it, revealing a ring, set in a beautiful red silk lining. Midou, realizing what was happening, blushed loudly, trying to hide it. He was smiling brightly and lovingly, as a tear of happiness rolled down his face. "Reiji.. I don't know what to say, it's so beautiful..."
