It's no one else than Jia. I had an epiphany of how attracted I am to her. She's something special. Like no one else I'd met before. She has this aura which makes everyone around her amazed by her personality.

She plays for a hour, taking few breaks in between of course and then bids the crowd goodbye promising another performance for next Friday. It bothered me that she hadn't even spared another glance at me the entire time.

But then, before she exits the stage, she locks eyes with me again, and this time they lack some of her usual confidence.

I ask someone the directions and head for the makeup room.

"You were amazing as usual!" I hear compliments thrown her way and her thanking the staff before the room becomes quiet as everyone leaves. That's when I take the chance and enter.

She looks at me through the mirror before turning around. She still has the mask on as she asks, "Why are you here?"

"Oh, you know me?" I arch an eyebrow, my lips slightly turning up from a side.

"No, I don't." She frowns, "Leave before I call the security."

"I know it's you, Jia." I come out with it, not trying to beat around the bush and waste both of ours time.

She bites her lip and she falls silent and I can't help but stare at them. Actually, it was taking all of my will power to not make love to her right here and then. That casual dress looked too ravishing on her.

She sighs, "What do you want?"

I lean on one of the chairs, looking at the room and finding her bag thrown across the sofa, "You wear a mask to hide your identity, right?" She nodded. I glance at her, smirking, "What if I told everyone you work in a bar?"

She shot a glare at me. And turned around, removing her earrings, "My father doesn't support me singing. He'd probably send me back to Belgium for business studies. It's not that I don't want to take our his company, I just want to live my life the way I want to before that."

"I didn't ask for a story but ok." I replied. I didn't mean it though but I didn't know what to say so let's just keep up the bad boy image for now.

She rolled her eyes through the mirror, "Jerk." I snorted a laugh but inside, great, now she hates me.

It was hard not to stare at her perfect figure as she faced back. But I fixed my gaze on something more perfect, her eyes. I felt like we had a moment, staring at each other through the mirror.

She turned around suddenly, slowly voicing, "Don't tell anyone." I cleared my throat, straightening up, taken aback by her soft tone, what was this girl doing to me?

"I won't tell." I agreed, turning to look at her smile widely almost instantly. It killed me to add, "But on one condition." Her smile faded and she sighed, "I'll pay you-"

I interrupt her, "Kiss me."

She looked up at me, surprised as I stare seriously at her. She pressed her lips together, rubbing her forearm.

She slowly walks towards me. With every click of her heels, I feel butterflies in my stomach. My breath stops when she's right in front of me. She looks at me intently, her cheeks reddening as she leans in.

As much as I'd loved to make out with her, I didn't want to force our first kiss.

I pressed a finger to her tinted lips and she immediately stepped away, blushing even more. I internally chuckled at that.

"I was just teasing you. Sorry." I shrugged. She huffed, "Asshole." I laughed, and approached her as she becomes stiff. I smoothly take off her mask, "I'll just take this as payment."
