Unlike my other stories which I am currently writing 'Of Shadows and Darkness' is a completed story I wrote for Nanowrimo in 2017 and revised a bit in 2018.
I've decided to post it up because I'm shelving this novel. I would like to think that I've grown as a writer since I wrote this novel but I love it a lot and I feel sad to let it go. I might return to it at some point but even then it will likely be highly revised.
The story gets more polishes as it goes but the first few chapters are rough and pretty much exactly as I wrote it for Nanowrimo 2017. The world building and magic system get a bit more polished eventually but I am aware there are some plot hole and some retcons that occur in the later chapters.
I hope you continue reading and give my story a chance. It's a lot of fun and there is a lot of kissing and magic!
