16. The Unexpected

Y/N's POV
Once I was over he clapped for me and was quite happy with what I  had to present.. although he gave really cold look during the whole meeting I had to be confident. Everyone gave me applause and I thanked them. I was quite happy that my first meeting had such appreciation for me. The CEO (well that's what I thought his position was because we were suppose to meet the head of the company) put the meeting to an end. Everyone exited the room but I didn't neither did my head  ,he asked me and my head to stay.. while he was talking to my head I was analyzing him from top to bottom

He looked very sharp and stiff to be honest confidence radiating from him. Suddenly he came and snapped me out of my thoughts. "Yes Sir?" I asked uncomfortably. "Ms.Song I'm really impressed with your presentation and I would like Mr Jeon to see this by his own eyes so if you would have some time later this week then I would like you to report to our company again.." he said sternly. "Alright sir I will report here later this week again with my presentation.." I accepted his order politely. He smirked and left.

*3 days later*

I received a call from the manager from Jeon's Co to come and present the presentation all over again to their head. Although it was too familiar to me, if made me feel a little odd. I was running out of time so I just rushed to the company. I didn't have anything since the morning, and needed my daily doze of caffeine to energize my lazy self. I had a good 25 mins until the presentation so I headed towards the cafeteria. I was walking by and suddenly bumped into someone.. "U-Uhh.. sorry... my bad" the girl apologized. She helped me up. She was quite younger than me. "Unnie are you new here? I haven't seen you around" she asked. "Yes and no" I answered back. She looked at me confused. "You see I have been here once but I'm not an employee here just came for some collaborative work" I said and she smiled nodding. "I'm Jeon Meji. What's your name?" She said. "I'm y/n. Song Y/N." I replied. "Do you perhaps know my brother? Bcz you seem familiar!" She bored her eyes at me. "No what's his name??" I asked. "Jeon Jungkook" was her reply... I remember this name and I remember Meji too..but I had to excuse myself as I was running out of time. "Uhh Meji I'm running out of time I'll catch up later.. see you soon sorry!" I said and rushed out of the cafeteria to the conference room.

No one was there yet so I decided to assemble everything just in case and go through everything over and over again. After a few minutes I heard the door opening. I was startled by the same guy who I assumed was the CEO. Well my bad. I bow down to greet him and he just walks away. Rude. After a little while more I saw a tall handsome man with brown hair,beautiful eyes, pink lips.. he was just perfect and I was drooling inside

I bow down once again greeting him and to my suprise he did the same. He smiled at me and said "I'm  Jeon Jungkook. And you are Ms?". "My name is Song Y/N" I replied. He gave me a handshake . I started with my presentation and was quite appreciated for my work.

*Time Skip*

I was walking towards my cabin thinking about the meeting earlier and how Jungkook seemed very different almost like he lost memories of all that happened it's not a bad thing although I'm quite happy for his success. And since now we have to collaborate Jungkook offerred me a cabin in his company so that it is easier for me to deal with the work.

As I entered the cabin I saw Meji standing inside and I was confused whether I entered the wrong cabin. As I was about to leave she called me out. "Unnie where are you going?" asked Meji. "Isn't this your cabin?" I questioned. "No we both will work here!" she exclaimed in excitement. I smiled at her and started to do my work and organize my files. After a while it was lunch break already and Meji asked me to come along for lunch. We were headed towards the cafeteria but instead we took a sharp turn towards the right adding up to my confusion we entered a room which had only special access with identification. "Umm..Meji ? Why are we here?", I asked. "To have lunch unnie and I need to talk to you!" She said. After the general conversation she started to question me about how my life has been.
"Meji can I ask you a question?" I asked. "Shoot" she said. "You remember me right?" I asked. "Yes very well" she replied. "So why did you guys leave earlier?" I asked. As soon as she was about to answer she got a call.

Meji's POV
Meji: yeobuseyo?
???: where are you?
Meji:VIP room
???: alone?
Meji:no I'm with Y/N unnie
???: Can you please come to my cabin, I'm not feeling very well.
Meji: I'll be right there!!

Y/N's POV
Hearing the conversation it sounded serious and she just ran outside the room. I waited for a while for her to come back but she didn't come. So I decided to leave. It has been hours long since I've been trying to complete my files and working for the upcoming project with the Jeon's company, its fascinating how he built so much over the time had passed although I remember his dad owning this company and as his only son now he had to take over after what had happened to his dad. I took a break and went over to garden area built separately for the company's workers. and lounged there for a while.

Meji's POV
After ending the call I rushed over to my brother's cabin. Some of you maybe wondering that how am I actually working when it had only been three years since we moved. Well I'm just learning being the emotional wreck I was earlier I'm much stronger now just turned into an adult and thought of acting like one too. I was walking down the hallway very close to the cabin I tried to rush in and was shocked to see Jungkook all pale. I had been there a few hours earlier and he was all nice and healthy, he suddenly took the bin beside him and puked I went over to rub his back. "Are you alright did you eat something wrong?!" I panicked. "U-uh no I just had my secretary come in with a cup of coffee and after an hour I'm feeling really bad", Jungkook replied. I touched his forehead to see if he had a temperature, and to my suprise he was burning. "M-meji I-", "Jungkook!", I shook him trying to wake him up, but he didn't..
