Jacob's Pov.

"Boss....the delivery was successful" of my men reported and I give him a satisfying look.

"Good. That's what I like to hear" I said to him before I dismiss him.

I was working the entire day today doing deliveries, making deals with other mafia leaders and even killing people who disobey me. Yep, that's my job.

I was currently sitting in my office finishing up my work for tonight when my mind went to Sophia. I wonder what she's doing?

Should I call?

....yeah, it's not like I even care for her anyways. It's just that I'm checking on her so that she don't run away.

Taking out my phone, I dialed her number and waited for her to answer. "Hi, this is Sophia Scott. I'm currently busy right now and unable to answer your call. If you want you can leave your phone number and your name so I could call you back later or leave a message after this beep--"

scrunching my eyebrows in confused, I called her number a few more time but it always goes to a voice mail. Why isn't she answering?

'Maybe her phone battery died' my conscious said and I did nothing but went along with what it said.

I should be leaving to go home anyways. It's getting pretty late and there's a very dangerous rainstorm. So getting up, I organized my file on my desk before entering the elevator.

"Jacob!!" A familiar voice was suddenly heard and I snapped my heard to where it was coming from.

"Voilet?!" I asked in surprise when I saw her. Voilet was--is my girlfriend but she left for a business trip a few weeks ago and it's surprising to suddenly see her.

"Oh Jacob!" She ran into my arms and kisses me.

"When did you come back?" I asked when we pulled away. She had her beautiful smile as she normally do.

"Yesterday" she responded while I wrapped my arms around her.

"Why didn't you come see me then? You know how much I miss you!" I said to her and she had a sad expression on her face. "What's the matter baby?" I asked.

"Y-you're married now" she said sadly and I sigh.

"But it was not out of love. It was my grandpa decision to marry that gold digger.I love you Voilet....I will never leave you for anyone else." I said truthfully to her and she give me a smile.

"So...come on. Let's go home" I said while taking her suitcase and began to walk but she didn't follow me. "Why aren't you following me?" I asked confused.

"W-will your wife allow me to---"

"She's not the boss baby and I won't let her ever harm you" I said to her and she send me another smile. "Now come on." I said and carry her to my car before we drove to my house.

"I miss this place" Voilet said as we pulled up at my house. I know she miss it and I miss her a lot.

"Come on" I said after I parked my car. I took out a umbrella and cover both of us as we walk toward the house. Opening the door, we both entered. There weren't a lot of lights on and the place was very quite.

"Are you hungry?" I asked as we passed the kitchen.

"No, I actually ate some food before I came to your office" use responded and I nodded. We made our way upstairs and we entered our bedroom.

The first thing I did was look for Sophia but frown when I didn't see her in the room. "What's the matter?" She asked cupping my face.

"This slut is already causing me trouble" I said angrily while my eyes searched the room for her.

"She sleeps on your bed too?" She asked while looking around the bedroom.

"No, on the floor" I responded while taking out my phone to dial her number again but stopped when I saw her phone on the couch.

Why the hell is she?!

"Wait in here" I said to Voilet before I exit the bedroom and began looking for her. This woman can't just keep herself put for trouble, huh?

Looking around the entire house, there was no sign of her. Pulling my hair in frustartion, I turned to the stairs but stopped when I saw a female figure out side.

Is that her?

Quickly walking over to the back door, I opened it only to see Sophia sleeping there. She quickly shot her eyes opened when I walked closer to her and immediately got up.

"What the HELL are you doing outside?!" I shouted at her and she flinched.

"I-it's was your maids who---"

"Don't even try to put them in this!" I cut her off and she sigh.

"Fine, you know what?! Just belive what the hell you want to believe....I don't give a damn" she mumbled to herself and I growl at her.

"You....what did I tell you? What did the contract say?" I asked and she remain quietly while she tremble when the cold wind blew by. "Get in!" I shout and she quickly walked inside.

Her skin was soak with water, from head to toe. Glaring at her, I entered inside before locking the door and turning only to see Voilet standing there.

"Hi!" Sophia waved politely at Voilet and Voilet looked at her them at me. "Who are you?" She asked while wrapping her hands around her body.

"this is Voilet....she's my girlfriend" I said and her smile suddenly dropped. "Have a problem with that?"I asked raising an eyebrow at her.

"Oh no....no problem. Then I better go change before I caught a cold. Bye!" She waved and ran up the stairs.

I was taken by her sudden action. Isn't she jealous?

Sophia's pov.

A girlfriend really?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not jealous! It's just that it's not fair. Why can he date and not me?

Anyways, I don't care. Entering the bathroom, I changed into some dry clothes before drying my hair and spreading my blanket.

Laying on the floor...I cuddled with myself before closing my eyes and fell asleep on no time.
