The Siren [ Mer!Deku x reader/Oc]

Ch.2

It has been 10 years since I've been secretly seeing y/n, we spend time with each other in the spring and summer. But I have to my travel with my pod in the autumn and winter, and return in 2 years time. We we're on our way back to the islands, but we were still many kilometers away.

"Izuku[age 16], slow down please," mom called out.

"Okay," I said slowing down a bit.

"Your sure excited to return to the Islands," mother said.

She had no idea, I can't wake to see you again, Y/n. I can't wait to escape my mean pod mates and Momona and his gang.

" Come on everyone pick up the paste!" Iida the centaur commanded.

Y/n, Momo, Tsuyu, Mina, Kaminari, Uraraka the fairy, Shouto the Kitsune,and Bakugou were all out on a run around the island. They were running on the perimeter of the island near the shore line. How Iida convinced them to come run with him is a mystery. Iida was ahead of everyone, while everyone else was lagging behind him. They were all tired and worn out, sadly they only ran 1/3 of the way around the island.

"Can you explain why your dragging us around the island Iida?" Mina panted, while tiredly flapping her wings.

"Because it is good to stay in shape, to stretch your muscles and build stamina," Iida explained.

"You can do it everyone!" Momo cheered.

"Were almost there," Y/n and Tsuyu joked.

" Easy for you too say!" Mina shouted

"You guys are swimming and not burning in the sun!" Kaminari shouted while pointing accusingly.

"That is true, but swimming takes more energy than running. So technically they are working harder than we are," Shouto deapanned.

"What ever half an half! Besides what's stopping them from swimming full speed ahead," Bakugou growled.

"Hey, can I ask? Other than using magic and singing mindwashig, what is the difference between sirens and mermaids any ways?" Tsuyu asked.

"I am kind of curious too. If it's not to personal," Uraraka added.

"Well, know days the differents a very apparent. You know due too all the intermingling and stuff," Y/n said.

"But a million years ago, we did look similar physically, at least," Momo pointed out.

"Before the war, Mer people and sirens looked very similar. Although Mer people were a few inches bigger, with bigger and stronger bones. They were physically stronger and had a lot more stamina than a siren, which is why they can travel through the big ocean," Momo continued
"Sirens were smaller, and had lighter bones. Sirens also had noticeable patterns on their tails unlike mer's who don't. Also we can transform legs on land,"

"So how is the relation ship with sirens and Mers now, ribbit?" Tsuyu asked.

"Still not good, they still don't want to talk to us. Let alone look at us," Momo sighed.
