Chapter 3: Supervision

"She will need to be under supervision: meaning she is to stay at a behavioral hospital where other patients with similar health problems are treated. I can assure you, she'll be just fine." The doctor spoke.

Her mother seemed unsure. "I don't know if that's what's best for her."

"She's not on her best at home, as we can see." The doctor said.

Her mother felt as if she was stabbed in the heart repeatedly. She couldn't protect her, maybe they could. Maybe he was right.

"Alright," Her mother sighed as her husband caressed her hand. Little Jihoon just stared at his unconscious sister.

He got off his father's lap and walked over to his noona. He grabbed her hand but flinched back because of how cold her hand was. This wasn't who his noona was, she was always warm and happy.

"Noona," he spoke quietly. "Are you o-okay?"

Unshed tears adorned his pretty brown eyes.

"I-I think you n-need a kiss to make it b-better. Mommy w-will kiss it b-better." He cried as his sobs started to get louder. "Mommy, k-kiss it better!" He turned to his mother who remained in place. "Mommy, you n-need to kiss it b-better!" He shouted.

His father tried to take him out of the room but he wouldn't let his sister's cold hand go. "No! I want my noona!"

His father finally got him out of the room and his mother cried as she could still hear his shouts from outside the room. "Where do I sign?"

She wanted her family to be happy again. If this was going to get her that, she wouldn't let this pass. What a mistake.

"I suggest you put him into a behavioral hospital. He doesn't seem to get any better, has he been taking his antidepressants?" The boy's psychologist asked.

"Yes, I've tried everything. His friends even come every day to see him but he just... shuts off and smiles."

"Like I said, I recommend a behavioral hospital for now. He must be supervised at all times, especially now that he tried to take his own life."

The boy's father nodded. "I will."

He didn't like the a idea, not one bit. But if this would bring his son back, his dislikes did not matter at all. He would do anything for him. After all, he's all he's got left.
