Chapter 1: The Heartbreak

Author's POV

It was a very fine morning.. The sun was shining brightly, birds were chirping in a harmonic melody, the trees were swaying fairly and the wind hit the bodies of the people out to go to school, to work, or just to enjoy the fresh air.

It was a very perfect day, but one person seems to be having a bad day.. " Ouch! Stupid coffee! Chaeyoung! Get up or we'll be late for school! " A tall girl grunts as she shakes her bestfriend's body..

She gets a towel and wipes the coffee that spilled on her hand..

" Gosh, Momo-unnie doesn't even like coffee.. Why did she make me make one for her? Aish.. " She groans and throws the towel on her bestfriend's face..

The strong smell of the coffee woke up the sleepy girl and she rubs her eyes before standing up and whining..

" It's just 6 o'clock Tzuyu! Why do you need to wake me up so early?! Our class starts at 8 o'clock ! "

" What do you mean Six o'clock? It's 7:25 already! I spent 1 hour and 25 minutes trying to wake you up and getting ready! Now hurry up! " Tzuyu said and gave the coffee to the girl on the couch..

" Momo-unnie! Are you still awake? Your coffee is here! " She wakes the drowsy girl as she hands the coffee cup to her..

" Aish! If I get late for the first time I'm gonna kill you two! " She groans with a threatening tone..

The two quickly moved around and got ready, fearing that Tzuyu might kill them..

" See! We're 5 minutes early! " Chaeyoung exclaims while jumping around the tall girl..

Tzuyu raises an eyebrow at her before shrugging.. " Wait.. Didn't proffessor say that class starts 10 minutes early today? "

" Oh shit.. " Chaeyoung mumbles.. They ran as fast as they can to their classroom, leaving the half-asleep half-awake Momo standing in the middle of the hall..

They burst the door open as their adviser and classmates stare at them weirdly.. " Why are you late Miss Son and Miss Chou? " Their professor asks them with a raised eyebrow..

" I was-.. I mean we were caught up in traffic? " Tzuyu tries her best to lie.. " But you didn't bring a car to school? " Their proffessor stares at them..

" Chaeyoung woke up late because she set the alarm clock late so.. " Tzuyu explains as Chaeyoung elbows her..

" OK, I'll give you a warning then.. Sit down. " They sighed in relief as they sat on their own respective chairs..

Taehyung places a piece of paper infront of Tzuyu and smiles at her..

Tzuyu smiles back at him and reads what is written on it.. ' Don't worry.. I told the professor that you will be late today because you had some important things to do.. And I also told him that Chaeyoung slept late last night because she was helping you with it.. ' her smile becomes wider..

Taehyung was her childhood friend and they became even more inseparable ever since they met again..

" Tzuyu? Can you answer this question please? " The butt face asked her as she looks at the question written on the board..

" 2037.6754? " She guessed.. The professor claps at her... " Correct! Very good, Chou.. "

" Ah~ she's so smart! I really like her! "

" Her sexiness becomes more sexier every time she gets an answer right! She's so smart! "

" The school heartthrob is back at it again! "

Whispers were heard all around the room.. Tzuyu sits down with an awkward smile as Taehyung congratulates her..

It's break time already and students rushed to the canteen or to the field to be with their friends..

Tzuyu was about to leave the classroom when she heard a familiar voice from the basement of the room..

" Dahyun-ah.. Someone might see us! "

" Don't worry.. Everybody left already.. I think. " Which was soon followed by moans..

She peeked through the key hole of the basement door and was shocked when she saw the lights open with Dahyun and her (Tzuyu) girlfriend, Sana naked..

They were kissing in a heated manner as they moaned softly..

Tzuyu's heart broke with the scene.. She trips over her shoelace as she stumbles to the ground..

" Did you hear that? I think someone heard us.. "

She quickly stands up and runs out of the room.. Tears were forming by the corner of her eyes that her vision became blurry..

She bumps into someone and she wipes her tears away.. " Tzuyu-ssi? A-are you crying? " She heard a soft voice..

She looks up to see Myoui Mina.. The girl was also very popular around the school for her looks..

She immediently stood up and helped the girl up.. " I'm sorry for bumping into you Mina-sunbaenim! " She bows at the senior infront of her..

" Why are you crying? " She asks the younger girl.. " I-its nothing.. " Tzuyu stutters..

Mina then saw Sana and Dahyun walking out of the room Tzuyu came out of and immediently got the message..

She drags Tzuyu to an empty hallway and held her shoulders.. " You saw them making out.. Did you? "

The girl nods with tears now flowing in her eyes.. She tries to stop them but they kept falling and falling..

" I know I'm such a baby to be crying.. I'm really sorry sunbaenim.. " She apologizes with a bow again..

Mina stops her and sighs.. " You're not a baby Tzuyu.. Most of the people here cries when they are cheated on or when they broke up with their girlfriends or boyfriends.. "

" They make out by the basement everyday.. Before class when there are still no students and after class when they think there are no more students.. Or sometimes by break time when the students left the class room already.. I'm sorry for not telling you.. " Mina states as Tzuyu bows at her..

" Thank you for telling me.. "

Mina smiles at her as the younger can't help but to smile back.. Now she gets why many people fall her her..

" I'll go now sunbaenim.. " She says and runs away.. Sana greets her with a smile as she hugs her girlfriend.. " Baby! I missed you so much! Why were you late though? Hey, atleast the professor didn't scold you.. " Sana acted like she still cared for Tzuyu even though she doesn't that much anymore..

Tzuyu fakes a smile, and that smile hides her heartbreak and her sadness.. She feels depressed just by the scene that flashes through her mind every second..

She's facing the heartbreak now..
