Tia pulls the car over, stopping in an ally. "Turn off the engine. You have 10 seconds to explain what the hell is going on?", Tia said as they all got out of car. "I am so sorry I dragged all of you into this mess. I'm also sorry that I got Amber into this." "Before, you get all sentimental, I want to say sorry to you earlier". Paige said, standing next to him. "That's alright, you were trying to help Amber. To bad we couldn't find the book.", he said a bit upset. So upset Jake kicked a trash can. "Maybe we can try and go back and see if we can find the book." Paige suggested trying to calm him down. "There's no need to go back." Tia said, getting their full attention. They both turned around to find that Tia has the book. "How did you...?", Paige asked surprisingly. "I found it under her mattress so I stuffed it in my bag. Hope this is the right one.", Tia said as she showed them the book. "Why didn't you say anything before?", Jake asked almost grabbing the book. "I don't think so. You need to tell us right now on what's going on! Every word mister. How did you and Amber get into this mess?", Paige asked. "Long story Paige. I don't even know where to start." He said, shrugging his shoulders. "Well, then start from the beginning.", Tia said, as she was putting the book back into her bag. "Okay, strap yourself in it's going to be a long one. So, it all started as another hangout..." (Flashback moment). "So, what's the big surprise?", Amber asked trying to sneak a peek. "Hey! I said no peeking. We're almost there, so just be patient with me, alright.", Jake said driving into the driveway. (Back to the present time) "Wait, hold on is this Amber's birthday party?", Paige asked. "I asked because, I remember you calling us to get everything together." "Yes, that is correct.", Jake said. "You were driving Amber to your house.", Tia added. "That is also correct. Anyway, as we were driving... (back to flashback) ... almost there; I got to take this call from my boss.", Jake said looking at them and back at the car. (Back to the present day) "Give me your keys.", Jake asked as he held out his hand. "What? No way, I'm not giving you my keys. Do you remember what happened last time I let you drive my car.", Tia said. "Listen, I'm sorry about that, but I really need your keys. Look, I'll even drive you home to you house but..." "You don't just need the keys, you need the vehicle.", Paige said, filling in his words. "Okay, yes! I need your car, alright. I have to be somewhere.", Jake said, reaching for Tia's keys, but Tia quickly pulled back away from him. "I don't believe you. I don't think you can be trusted.", Tia said, walking back to her car alongside with Paige. "You coming or not?", Paige asked as she was getting inside the passenger seat. "I really need your car! Please, if you're not going to lend me your car, can you at least drop me off then?", Jake asked. Tia pulled out of the alley with everyone in the car and drove off. "Where am I dropping you"? "Just drive, I'll let you know when we get there." Jake said texting his friend. "If you want her to drive there you'll tell her where to go." Paige said eyeing him down.
