The scene opens with a young adult female sitting on the sidewalk, her head resting against her drawn up knees, raining falling onto her heavily.
"Hey, Aphrodite. You okay?" A deep voice says sitting next to her.
The young female god looks at the man who is now sitting with her.
He was tall with gorgeous blonde locks and seemed to glow even in the darkly dimmed streets."Hi Apollo. Sorry I just... mum and dad are fighting again and she keeps shouting 'go back to your other side pieces'. Doesn't it annoy you that your mum is so chill?" Aphrodite says sadly.
"I feel worse for Hera, Athena, Ares, Hebe and Hephaestus. Their his main family" he states solemnly.
The god of the sun was usually so optimistic but today seemed to be dragging both young immortal gods down.
"I appreciate the company, brother"
"Half" Apollo reminds her "half brother"
"Does that truly matter to you? I mean we are still family you dingus." She snaps. Aphrodite wasn't one to temper with. She could flip the switch and be pissed within ten milliseconds.
"I'm not trying to upset you, Aphrodite, I'm simply stating facts. Mother had just engrained into my own and Artemis's minds that Zeus and his children are second"
"Our father is a true sleaze" Aphrodite agrees.
"You should come over to uncle Hades. Him and Persephone are celebrating their one hundredth thousandth wedding anniversary."
"I thought you didn't like uncle Hades?" Aphrodite questions. Usually Apollo was one to avoid the awkward family reunions.
"No I just don't like our father, Zeus, but I talked to Hermes about it. He's right, it's our uncles day. Not our pathetic fathers. It isn't our fault he can't keep it in his trousers" he grumbles the last part, annoyed at their playboy father.
"Mother doesn't really talk about him. He never comes over to see me anyway. That's why she was getting so mad" Aphrodite explains, reminding Apollo that the two gods were actually still outside on the gutter of a street in the pouring rain, late at night with nothing but Apollo's natural glow and the dim street lamp a few metres from them.
"Right. That would make sense" Apollo says.
"What are you doing in these streets anyway? You and Artemis are usually going at each other and trying to impress your mother Leto." Aphrodite asks as the siblings started to drift into an awkward silence.
