Chapter 27 The Fall of Nazi Germany

Anastasia POV:
It's been five years since our family has been reunited and in that time Germany manage to occupy Belgum, Netherlands, and France. Japan made a foolish mistake when they attack Pearl Harbor an American navel base and that bought them into the war. Recently France in Exile, England, and the United States launched a operation to land on the beaches of Normandy to liberate France and that lifted German pressure from this front and allowed us to push further using Russian tanks designed by Stalin when we toppled the Soviet Union.

I was sitting in my study working when the radio came on saying "Germany capitulated with the Fall of Berlin and Hitler's Death", my fifteen year son Alexander runs in excited, his sister Catherine started dating Nikita. I stands up and hugs Alex crying happy tears that Germany has fallen. "Alex, how was the council meeting in my place?","It was alright Mom, they all respected me without my experiences in politics","They respect you because as heir to the throne". We walk to the family dining room to see Mother, Dmitri,Alexei, Olga, Tatiana, Gleb, Peter, Catherine, and Nikita eating. "I have an announcement", they stop and watch,"At noon, the City of Berlin and Nazi Germany has fallen to the Allies", They and the servants cheered, "We lost dear friends and others", looks at Olga with a sadden expression seeing she lost a boyfriend who was a commander, she looks down remembering. Anna my Lady in Waiting comes in with a letter saying "Grand Duchess Olga for you", she hands her a letter and started reading it out loud,"My Dearest Olga, I was sent to a Nazi prison camp and was saved by Russian forces under the command of the Dowager Emperor Nicholas II and I'm being transfer to the Moika Palace Hospital in Petersburg. Love Boris Petrovich". "He alive", she runs out the room with her purse.

Grand Duchess Olga POV:

I got into the car driven by my driver Andrei and heads to Moika Palace. I runs in asking for Commander Boris Petrovich and they point me to his room. "Boris!!!". I hugs him crying. He yells "Your Majesty", I look to see Anastasia walking in with her son Alexander, "Relax Commander, when you was MIA my older sister Olga was in depression over your lost", "Relax Boris she and the rest of my family knows of our relations".

Anastasia POV:

I smiled at Olga and Boris love for each other reminding me of mine and Dmitri's. "Your love reminds me of me and my husband, so I won't do this often, so I'm arranging your marriage", I leaves hearing their breathing.

It's has been a week and the Treaty of Petersburg with Germany and Italy along with the Allies delegation meeting in the Winter Palace signing peace treaty ending the war in Europe. We was preparing for a ball in Catherine Palace, I was fixing Alexander tuxedo while Peter waited for his turn and we left heading to the antechamber. 

Third POV:

"Presenting Their Imperial Majesties Empress Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov and her Emperor Consort Dmitri Feodovich Romanov and their highnesses Tsarevich Alexander IV Anastavich Romanov, Grand Duke Peter IV Anastavich Romanov, and Grand Duchess Catherine III Anastavania Romanov", said Prime Minister Alexei Nikolavich Romanov and the crowd cheers.

Catherine POV:

I was sitting on my throne when Nikita came offering his hand and I took it and he pulled me on to the dance floor. I felt some tap my shoulder and sees Grandfather, "Nikita, can I dance with my granddaugther?", "Alright, Your Grace", he backs away. We was dancing when Aunt Irina Yusupov Romanov and Uncle Felix Yusupov mother's cousin who normally live in Great Grandmother home in Paris and daughter to Great Aunt Xenia interrupted us by screaming "Uncle Nicky!", she hugs grandfather as Mother, Father, Alex, Peter, Aunt Olga, Aunt Tatiana and Uncle Gleb, Nana, and Great Aunt Xenia walks over. She turns to my mother asking "Cousin Anastasia, do you know if my husband's family palace is being used?", "It's been converted to a hospital during the war and may stay that way for the future", "pity, now where we are going to stay", Aunt Xenia spoke up to her only daughter "Irina why don't stay with me in Alexander Palace".

Anastasia POV:

"Nonsense Xenia, Irina could stay here in Catherine's" said Father, we walked towards the family quarters to prepare for bed. I see Catherine sneaking with Nikita into her room and I smiled.
