Allie's POV

________________________________

As I got home I still hadn't got the picture of the glittering hazel eyes off my mind. The way they were sparkling from the sunlight that came through the windows, the way they melted in perfectly against his beautifully tanned skin. I walked up to the front door, rummaging through my bag to find the key. But when I had searched through the whole bag and still hadn't found my key, I just mentally slapped myself for being so stupid! I remembered that it was my mom whom had locked the door when she got of to work, and that I had left my key on the table because I was in a hurry. Typical Allie luck...

I fished up my phone from my pocket, texting my mom, asking when she'd be home.

To: Birthgiver

Hi! When will you be home? Locked myself out of the house...

It didn't take long until mom answered, a frown appearing on my face while reading the answer.

From: Birthgiver

Hi sweetie! Oh, I'm so sorry, I have the late shift tonight, so I won't be home until 10-11pm... But call Christopher, you could probably go to him! Love you! x

I sighed typing a quick "I love you too" sitting down on the porch gliding my hands against my arms, trying to get the blood circulation to work again, while trying to figure out what to do. I knew that Christopher had soccer practise tonight, so he'd probably be too busy to pick me up.

While I was sitting, grumbling because of my awful problems, a car stopped outside of the house. Paranoid as I am, panic grew inside me. Who was that? I had never seen that car before! Before I could think of some other questions, the drivers door opened and out climbed, believe it or not: Calum! The panic that had rose inside of me, faintly disappeared, still a little shaken by the surprise.

"Hi there! Isn't it a little too cold to sit out here thinking about the birds and bees, and the one, two, threes, heh?" He asked flashing me a grin.

"Yeah, I usually do that inside, but today Allie Parker was this talented that she forgot her key and is locked out from the house until 10-11 tonight.." I said, rolling my eyes at my clumsyness.

"Wow, I mean that's just... Great!" He said laughing at me. His laugh was probably the cutest I've ever heard, and it was really contagious, so we sat at my porch just laughing at my stupidness.

"You know, you could come over to my place, and we could watch a movie and eat some food, because I bet you're hungry, because the food today sucked!" He said making a fake gagging sound. I laughed and nodded in agreement. They said it was chicken with rice, but it was not chicken, and definitely NOT rice. The school food always tasted like something had died and rotten in it, it was horrendous.

"Well, I got two options here. 1: Stay here and freeze to death or 2: Follow you to a warm home with food. Hard choice!" I said laughing. He laughed, his body bouncing up and down while doing it. He looked so... peaceful, like there was nothing that could be bothering him.

He rose from his seat on the porch, reaching out his hand to help me up. When I grabbed his hand, it was warm, almost warming my whole body.

"Fuck, you're freezing! Let's get you into the warmth." he said while walking back to his car. I followed his steps, running to the other side of the car, and opened the door and sat down on the passenger seat, buckling my seatbelt.

"So tell me how's the life in London?" Calum asked while starting the engine in the small blue Toyota. It took a while to gt the car to start, and I heard at least ten "shit" and "fuck" until the engine finally started and we could start to drive down the block.
