A/N: Hey lovelies, welcome to chapter three. As usual this chapter is dedicated to my Arrow rp chat, love you guys. Let's jump into the story
Shaylah sat on the couch, watching TV and flipping through the channels until she saw Blake coming down the stairs.
"Hey." she smiles softly. "How did you sleep?"
Blake sighed, wiping his tear stained eyes. "Fine. I slept fine." he said, sitting down on the couch.
Shaylah looked at him for a moment. She knew when someone was putting up a front. "That's good." She finally says, deciding to drop the subject.
Blake nods "What are you watching?" he asks.
"Nope. I'm not telling you. You're just going to make fun of me." she says, shaking her head and changing the channel quickly.
"Come on, what is it. Is it something that someone your age shouldn't be watching? Should I be concerned?" he asked
"Not exactly" Shaylah mumbles.
Blake nodded, before suddenly lunging towards the remote, grabbing it out of Shaylah's hands, changing the channel to reveal a rerun of the show Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Thea groans, covering her head with the pillow. "Yes. I watch Avatar. It's literally my entire childhood. The themes are just so damn good and I still appreciate it." she says, her voice muffled by the pillow.
Blake pauses for a minute, before sitting next to her and chuckling "It's my favorite show too." he laughs, pulling the pillow from Thea's hands, tossing it aside.
"Really?" she asked, surprised.
"Yeah. It helped me through a lot, with my dad. It made the years I spent there a little more bearable. And it got me to this point. Without it, I don't think I would have made it to the point where my life is significantly less hellish" Blake says. "What episode are we watching"
Shaylah smiled at him for a moment. "Yeah. Me too." she says "And the episode that's on right now is Day of Black Sun. Not my favorite, but its not as bad as The Swamp."
"How can you not like The Swamp episode? It's a pivotal episode. It's where Aang sees Toph for the first time, and it's huge character development for Katara and Sokka too because its where they see their mother and Yue. And it's not as pointless as The Great Divide." Blake reasons.
Shaylah rolls her eyes "I don't get how people hate that episode! It's hilarious." she chuckles.
"It's filler." Blake says.
"Whatever. Let's just agree to disagree." Shaylah chuckles.
After a few episodes of Avatar, Shaylah sits up "Wanna go get something to eat? I'm starving." Shaylah says
"Naturally. Where do you want to go?" Blake asks her, getting up and grabbing his wallet.
"I want tacos" she says.
Blake chuckles "Alright." he says, and the two drive to the taco place.
Shaylah and Blake order their food, Shaylah taking hers back to the table.
"I have to get hot sauce" Shaylah announces, walking to the condiment counter, where a guy stood there, taking a couple hot sauce packets before moving onto the peppers.
Shaylah arrives at the counter, her face falling when she sees the empty compartment.
"Sorry. Do you like hot sauce too?" he asks, taking one of his earbuds out.
