I woke up the next morning to hear blue birds chirping a beautiful morning melody. It was truly beautiful. I got out of bed and walked to the kitchen and walked to the fridge and opened the freezer but I didn't use it like any other normal person would...I used it to store human meat. I could eat some normal food that humans eat since I am half human and I trained my body to but I can't eat vegetables really and not a lot of fruits. I still need to eat human meat everyday which is hard for a teenager who lives alone and almost everyone sees your kind as monsters and beasts that lack any sort of emotions and has a whole in their hearts if the have one at all.
I quickly ate and then took a quick shower. I wrapped a white towel around myself as I heard my phone notification go off. It happened to be a text from Bakugou. He must have gotten my phone number from Yaoyorozu.
'Oi, glasses I'll meet you at one at the hospital alright. You better not be late or I'll turn you into ashes'
After reading his text I quickly responded to his message. 'Alright, I already ate breakfast and I just took a shower. I just have to get dressed and I'm going to pick up a get well card and some flowers. '
I then got dressed in black shorts, fishnets, Van's, black tank top that showed my stomach a little, red and black flannel that was a little big, and a black choker to hide my scar a little and of course my glasses. I rushed out of my house and headed to a flower shop after locking my door and getting a get well card.
Finally making it to the hospital where Aizawa-sensei was staying at I walked inside and saw Bakugou waiting for me outside of our homeroom teacher's hospital room. He was a little early but there is nothing wrong with that. "Hey Bakugou!" I said as I walked up to him. "I didn't think you would be waiting outside his room but I'm glad you are here" I said with a small smile. "I just wanted to make sure he wasn't dead with his fucking injuries and because you two act weird towards each other. I pull him inside the hospital room with me and gently closed the door behind us. Aizawa-sensei was awake and reading a book it was the one that Eto wrote.
"I didn't know you liked that author." I said and he turned to look at me and Bakugou. "You didn't have to visit you know and I'm curious how you convinced him" I set the cards down and put them in a vase filled with water. "He had questions and I'm worried about how villains got a ghoul on their side and if they have any other." Aizawa nodded "you know how they might have?" He asked. "They may have promised it food. It would explain all the deaths and murders. If it's that what all hell will break loose..." Bakugou looked at me confused "what the fuck do you mean when you say all hell will break loose and how the hell do you know about that shit" I gulped and took off my glasses. "Because I'm half human and half ghoul also know as a one-eyed ghoul. There are other like me but I am one of the only two that are natural. I wear these glasses to hide what I am and so the CCG,other ghoul families, and organizations can't find me. That ghoul attacked because I was there and because I escaped from her families estate that I was taken into....and so she could get revenge on what I did. If that's what she wants I'll give her a real fight." Both of them looked at me shocked.
"Oi! Do you have a death wish. Facing that thing would be suicide. I've never even see you use your quirk" I just smirked a little "I'm quirkless but having a quirk doesn't mean I can't win. I became a hero for equality and peace. I lost everything and I'm finally starting to make a new life for myself, I'm not going to let someone get in my fucking way" I said and he could tell that their was a fire of passion in both my eyes. "Also Aizawa-sensei if that offer is still available I agree." He nodded "I'll tell Nezu. Also you should explore around more since you just moved here and don't do anything stupid." I nodded and put on my glasses before I walked out the door after telling him bye and that I hope he feels better.
Me and Bakugou walked out of the hospital together and my (h//l) (h//c) fluttered in the wind. "So do you have the same appetite as them" he asked "sort of. I can eat some food that normal people can eat but I do have to eat you know...but I don't go around killing people. Recently my friend who is a leader of an organization that helps ghouls has found donors that after the die...you can basically guess..think of it as organ donors." I said and looked down at my feet. "Please I know you probably think of me as some monster but I can't go back to that estate.." Bakugou gently patted my head and looked into my eyes "I trust you for some fucking reason so I'll keep my mouth shut but the minute you hurt an innocent person and anyone I care about I won't hesitate to turn you in" I nodded and gulped.
Suddenly I smelled a strong scent of blood that was fresh and nearby I think. "I'll be back. It should only take a few minutes" I turned to leave but he grabbed my wrist. "Something is up. I already know what you are so don't lie" he said in a harsh and angry tone. "I-..." my phone rang and I was relieved especially when I saw it was my best friend. "Sorry I have to take this real quickly" "tch" he responded and I went to the side and answered the call "Hey! Wha-" I was cut off by a voice of a mysterious man.
"Hello Ms. Twenty Million or was it Billion, I forgot. I'm sorry to inform you but your dear friend (fb/n) is no longer with us. They were such a lovely doll don't you agree. All cuts and bruises over their beautiful body and their blood all over this nice floor." Tears ran down my face as I my knees started to grow weak and my whole body started shaking my legs gave out, I closed my eyes embracing for the fall but someone caught me. I opened my crying eyes and saw that it was....Todoroki...why was he here. Bakugou ran up towards us.
"OI ICYHOT WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU FUCKING DOING HERE" Bakugou yelled at Todoroki. "My damn father's company is near here and I was walking around." I was still in Todoroki's arms when the mysterious man on the phone started to talk again.
"We will talk to you again but you should have have a little package at home waiting for you. I think you will really appreciate and like it. Until next time Ms. Two Billion."
As soon as the call ended my phone fell to the ground and more tears ran down my cheeks.
I felt a warm heat and saw that it was Todoroki, it must be his quirk. I nuzzled into the warmth as Bakugou picked up my phone he then played the phone call again since it was recorded since I was probably way too much of a wreck.
When the message ended he and Todoroki just looked at me with wide eyes. "Who the hell was that?" Bakugou asked. "I don't know...but they...they killed her. Why do people keep taking things away from me."
After awhile they took me home was pictures of my best friend being tortured I quickly put them away. Not wanting to look at them anymore, they knew where I lived so I obviously couldn't stay there. Todoroki told me that I could stay at his place and we agreed to that.
Todoroki took me to his place and I had to admit that it was freaking huge. No one was home at the time. We both weren't hungry with all that just happened. "C-can I sleep with you tonight?" I asked. Todoroki looked at me and he had his usual expression but I noticed a faint pink blush spread across his cheeks. It took me a minute to realize what I said sounded like. "I-i didn't m-mean i-it like that....I meant can I stay with you tonight since I don't feel like being alone. He nodded and handed me an oversized shirt and then some black gym shorts from his sister. I got dressed when he went to take a shower. About fifteen minutes later he came out...and he was shirtless. I blushed and looked back at my book I was reading and he sat besides me. We were both laying down on his bed. "What are you reading?" I handed him my book and he looked at it. He noticed that I was still shaken up and that reading calmed me down. Suddenly he held me close and opened the book and started to read it to me as he ran his fingers through my (h//c) hair. I smiled softly and nuzzled into his chest as he contained to read to me. I soon started to drift asleep and soon fell asleep. Todoroki soon noticed I fell asleep and marked the page and put the book down and turned off the lights and soon also fell asleep after saying "good night (l//n)" he also took my glasses off and we both then slept all night.
