George turned his phone off, putting it back it in his pocket as he quickly headed upstairs to his room. He did feel a bit bad for being rude to this guy but he wasn't in the mood to be talking to people right now. He knew that his dad would be home soon and he needed to prepare himself. He sat down on his bed, grabbing his headphones. There was an essay he needed to write for History due tomorrow but he knew he wouldn't be able to concentrate with all the noise going on downstairs. He put his headphones on and put on his blossoms playlist. Honey Sweet started blaring through his ears and he smiled slightly before sighing for what felt like the millionth time today.

He heard his dad open the front door. He heard him rush into the kitchen where his mum was. Then he heard him shout and her shout back like they did every night for the last few weeks.
