Day 239

My period was over.

LUCKILY.

Ink did it to wash the bed stuff and while that, I was sleeping on the couch. I just woke up, because I heard Ink howl out in pain and so, I rushed up to the kitchen, spotting him at the stove. He held his one arm and sucked at one finger of him, so, I could guess, what he had done.

"Ink? Why the heck are you cooking? We talked about this!" My voice seemed to scare the last shit out of him and he screeched even more. While his screech session, I walked calmed over at the stove and turned the things off, there was just a burned liquid in the pan, that Ink heated up recently.

"Pibs, what are you doing so early?"

"You screamed."

"Oh...yeah... I wanted to make you some breakfast and... uh... ask you something. Really important. Heh..." With this, he dragged the pan out of my hands, pushed me out of the kitchen and forced me to sit on the sofa. He was just rushing up and down in front of me, like he was nervous or something and my curiosity grew more.

"So...?"

"Uh... I wanted..."

"Uh-uh?"

"To ask you..."

"Yeah?"

"If you. MAYBE..."

"Yes?"

"JUST... SHUT UP A SHORT MOMENT! YOU'RE NOT MAKING THESE ANY EASIER!"

"Okay..."

"I wanted to know, if you maybe go on a date with me. NOT? OH-OKAY! UNDERSTOOD, I'M IN MY ROOM THEN!" But my hands grabbed the escaping skeleton at his scarf, making him stop awkward and waiting for me to say/do something.

"Yeah, sure. But I really suck at dating..." When I told him that, Ink froze at his place, I wasn't sure, if I should have said that to him. We both just waited for each other to say something and I didn't dare to move or something, because Ink was really emotional lately.

"Then let's go! Uh... well... what do people do, when they go on a date?" I thought for a little moment and well, I wasn't really the most creative person in this subject. I let his scarf go and leaned back to think better.

"There's differences, I think... some couples like to cook together, but we both definitely don't. And if we just get a drink, I dunno... we could go out to Muffet's and chat a little? I'm not really a good type for dates, I'm really awkward... I'm sorry..."

"Okay then. Should we go? I heard from Blue, that people used to get dressed special for such an event, should I come with these or...?" I just shrugged and thought a little bit, then an idea popped in my head.

"We could... both go in the room of the other person and pick out some clothes, you would like to see on the other one. But not too much or less, like just a good outfit. Agree?" Ink nodded and we went up to our rooms, Ink entered my room and me his room.

"Okay, let's see..." My hands opened up his wardrobe, which I already knew, and my eyes looked for some sort of cool hoodie and normal pants. I found some sort of hoodie in the very back of the closet, he was like pastel-colored and some black jeans, which were ripped open at the knee parts and some color stains on it.

"Pibs, do you like to wear skirts?" Ink's outfit hung over my arms, when he entered his room, carrying a pink skirt and a sort of old black hoodie, he found in a shop. He also gathered some pink cuffs and normal socks for me.
