No, there is not going to be a dramatic age difference. They're both around the same age-ish.
Scenario One: Fresh is hired as a babysitter by Ink and Error to take care of baby Gradient and ends up meeting Paperjam while working. They both spend time together whenever Fresh isn't too busy and Paperjam sometimes helps him out.
Scenario Two: Paperjam and Fresh meet and they both develop a crush on one another. But Ink and/or Error ban a romantic relationship with Fresh from ever happening. Enter in cheesy forbidden love plot.
Scenario Three: Paperjam finally turns eighteen and visits Fresh after a long time of never being able to visit him. Cue bonding and maybe some Sub!Fresh
