The New Managers

The energetic young boys come together, then split about, doing animal aegyo. SuHee smiles proudly as they have fun with their practice. Yeonjun takes the lead, and in the back, Beomgyu stumbles a little. SuHee frowns and moves out of the way for one of the managers. She bows to him in respect before asking if she could step inside for support.
The man gives her a look and frowns. "Who are you?"
"Oh, sorry. I'm Nam SuHee. One of BTS's new managers."
"Oh!!" He looks surprised. "I've never seen you around here. I thought for a minute you were a fan." He wipes imaginary sweat from his brow. "Pleased to meet you."
"You too. The TXT boys came to one of our game nights last week. Would it be alright if I said hi?"
"Oh yes, of course. Go right ahead." The man steps aside, giving her access to the door.
She bows in thanks and steps inside, trying not to catch the boys' attention and distract them. The song ends within 30 seconds and the boys notice her as they're holding the cat position. She smiles and waves at them in greeting.

"Noona!" Kai waves excitedly, standing up as soon as the manager gives them the ok.
She smiles and offers him a hug. The boy jumps into her arms, and soon the other crowd around her, hugging her too.
"We haven't seen you for a week!" Taehyun pouts.
SuHee hugs Kai back and tries to hug them all back.
"How've you been?" The maknae asks, grabbing a bottle of water and downing it.
SuHee hesitates. "I've been okay.. I'm staying home tomorrow because I'm sick." She admits then realizes something. "And I shouldn't be here if I am. I could get you sick." She smiles and steps towards the door.
The two youngest howl and run away teasingly.
She rolls her eyes and sends a fake cough towards them. "Bye guys!"
The TXT boys laugh and wave to her as she heads out. She leaves the practice room and heads back to the office.

"What did he say?" Mina asks with a mouthful of food when the office door opens.
SuHee smiles and sits by her. "He gave me off tomorrow and was really nice."
"Oh good!" She leans over and gives her a side hug. Hesitating by her shoulder, Mina tips her head. "Did you hug someone? You smell like men's cologne." She chuckles.
SuHee hums and nods. "I stopped by and got group hugged by TXT. I bet a couple of them had cologne."
Mina smiles. "That was nice of you. How are they?"
"They're good. They were practicing Cat And Dog."
"Aw! I love that dance! It's so cute!" She does the cat aegyo that the boys do.
SuHee nods. "Can I have a bite?"

Mina takes another bite and then prepares a bite for her. She holds out the chopsticks, cupping her hand under it to prevent drips and drops. SuHee opens her mouth for the bite.
"Nom~" Mina makes a noise when she gives the bite. She follows it with a tiny kiss on the nose.
SuHee smiles lightly and chews. "Thanks. I'm gonna take a nap."
"Okay."
The girls stand up and Mina picks the blanket off the couch, waiting until the younger girl has laid down to tuck it around her.
"Sleep well." She pats her.
SuHee hums in response and snuggles into the blanket.

Mina is up the next day before sunrise, telling Suhee goodbye and leaving the apartment. She arrives at the BigHit building and is shuffled inside a bus with Seokjin and several security guards and staff members. Mina takes a seat by a woman in her thirties, who is one of the makeup unnies. Across the way are the guards, one in particular kicked back and already in napping position before the bus has even taken off.
The makeup unnie glances at her and smiles. "You like him?" She asks quietly.
Mina presses her lips together. "He's handsome." She responds.
She nods towards him. "He works on the floor below where your office is."
"I might have to keep that in mind." Mina laughs. "But I'm not looking for anything right now." She smiles. "What's your name? I'm Go Mina."
She smiles and bows a little. "I'm JiHu. I'm a make up artist for BTS."
"Ohh!" Mina claps her hands together once and grins. "That's why you're familiar. Well it's nice to meet you."
"How do you like being a manager?" She asks, adjusting the bag in her lap.
"It's hard work, but I enjoy it. Suhee and I... we've been ARMYs for years, and we always wanted to help them out. So, even though it's tough sometimes, I really really love it."
She nods and bows again. "I look forwards to working with you both."
"We are too! It's nice to meet people who are like us. I wish Su could have come with us." Mina pouts slightly.
She tilts her head. "Is she in charge of the others while you're gone?"
"Every day but today. She's staying home today because she's sick." Mina explains.
JiHu frowns a little. "I hope she gets better soon. The boys have been happy lately."
"She will. It's just a cold." Mina looks down at her hands in her lap. "I'm glad that we can make them happy."
"Whatever you're doing really is making a difference. They haven't seemed as down when I do their makeup."
"We do our best." Mina hums.
