I walked into the small apartment, my eyes shining with delite of the beautiful furniture.

The floor was marble, so shiny you could see you own reflection in it. The walls were white, but a dozen of pictures were hung up on them. The couches were placed by the fire pit, and plants were placed at different places in the room. The kitchen was filled with high-tech tools and machines, and and island was resting at the middle of it.

"You have a beautiful home." I stated, studying the rooms carefully.

"Thanks, my dad had gotten me it." he chuckled,

"come, we can make some dinner, and then go to sleep." we walked into the kitchen, "oh, alright. What would you like to have?" I asked, putting my hair up in a messy bun and opening the refrigerator door, back at El Salvador, the only times I would be let free, and have some decent meals was at game night. The boys would sit around the television and watch sports, getting drunk while I serve them all sorts of food.

"Audrey, you're the guest, I will make you dinner." he smiled at me and patted the seat beside him around the island. "It really is alright, you don't have to do anything for me. I wouldn't want to owe you anything." I insisted, but he only brushed me off and walked to the refrigerator,

"I make killer pancakes." he said, taking out the eggs, milk and flour. I sighed, sitting at the island and watching him cook for me. It was unusual for me to be sitting around and watching others take care of sorts. And yet, Oli seemed pleased to make me dinner.

After a couple minutes of chatter, he served me a plate with three large pancakes, and handed me some maple syrup and hot chocolate at the side. He cut up some fruits and even made some whipped cream.

After cleaning up, he sat by my side, spreading chocolate across his own plate and cutting up bites.

I haven't touched anything. "Hey, is everything alright? Why aren't you eating?" he turned to me, pointing at the untouched meal in front of me.

"I have never tasted pancakes." I whispered in embarrassment, my cheeks warming up by the second.

Oli seemed quite surprised to my comment, "well then, you have to do it right." he said,

"you will need some chocolate, and whipped cream, with some strawberries and bananas on top." he mumbled to himself as he put chocolate on my pancake, as well as whipped cream, and fruit.

"There, try it." he handed me the silverware, I cut a small piece and put in my mouth, a moan had escaped my lips as I tasted the sweet and sour mix of all the toppings on this tasty dish.

"That is absolutely fantastic!" I called, eager for more of the delicious food. He laughed at my reaction.

After a quick five minutes, my plate was half empty, and my stomach as full as ever.

"I have never eaten so much in my life." I groaned, feeling as if I weighed 500 pounds.

"Are you kidding me? That is so little! By the time I'm done with you, you will be finishing two plates like these per meal." he joked, I laughed loudly, getting back up on my feet and taking a second to balance,

"Are you alright?" Oli jumped at the sight of me almost slipping off my feet, "I'm okay, I just haven't gotten used to walking yet." I explained, grabbing the plate and cleaning it up.

Hours had passed and I still struggled falling asleep, I couldn't get used to the soft mattress under me.

I sighed heavily, moving from the soft bed to the cold floor, and falling asleep.

"Hola, beauty. It's been a month since you got here, lost hope yet?" Master entered the empty room I was at, I could feel the cuffs cut off the circulation of my wrists, the hard bed was stained with blood from different places of my body. And my mind was blank of any thoughts thanks to the drugs they had been injecting me with constantly. I scoffed slightly, "I never had hope from the beginning." my voice was dry and grindy, as of the lack of water and food. I have refused to eat for a while, hoping it would end my misery eventually.
