The sound of laughter had woke my consciousness, I grunted in pain, trying to bring my hands to my eyes to rub them, but with no success. "Hey, look! I think she's waking up!" a strange, male voice struck me from nearby, and I could feel the presence of other people by me. I slowly opened my eyes, studying the surroundings and trying to come up with ideas of where I am at. None came to mind.
I looked up to find both my hands held tight by handcuffs to the sides of a bed, after a quick gaze down, I realized my legs were at the same position.
That is when it striked me,
'We just want our money back from your friend, Jay Martinez? Sounds familiar?'
The money! Jay! I must be at the warehouse of one of the gangs.
"Good morning, lovely. Have you slept well?" two young men had popped by the side of the bed, one had bright blonde hair, almost white, and a pair of brown eyes. The other had a dark fro lining his face, and a pair of rather bright green eyes, they both gazed at me with looks I could not read.
I smiled in obvious sarcasm,
"of course I did. It is a very neat technique of sleep, what you did to me. I mean, who needs Xanax when you have a big bear to creep on you and beat you to unconsciousness!" I said with a fake sweet tone rolling down my tongue, a big smile was spreaded across my face.
The boys seemed rather amused from my response, "damn it, man. This chick got guts considering the situation." the fro said. "It ain't guts, hon. It is pure sarcasm." I rolled my eyes.
"Alright, boss had asked us to explain you the reason you are here." The blonde said, "your friend had left our gang for the favor of other, while he still owed money to us. So we had taken you hostage, and will sell you to him at the worth of the money he owes." he simply said, "and that is?", "$375,000 dollars." my eyes widened as he rolled the words out of his tongue, a second of silence, before tears started streaming down my eyes. No, i wasn't crying, but laughing. I was choking out of laughter as the boys watched me in confusion. "Oh my god. No--" I laughed again, after another minute, I finally breathed again, inhaling in distress of air. "So this is.. Amusing to you?" the fro asked, "you guys, this is pointless! Do you actually I worth this much to Jay? No way! You are better off killing me right now and ending it. He won't pay. I am not a very important person." I said in disbelief to the stupidity of their plan. "Why would you say that?" the guys had both seemed to look at me with a bit of guilt at that moment.
"Because, I'm a bad person. I've known my friends for years and yet lied to them until now. I mean, I had lived on the streets since my family was killed, that was when I was seven! I never told anyone about that before. They all think I live with a mom I don't even have, and a little brother who's made up. I am not worth this much money." I finished, they both looked at me uncomfortably.
"Well, we'll see about that. We had recorded you this whole time, and we are sending it to Jay to inform him of your captivity. He will hear what you said now, so we might kill you after all, but for now, your ours."
The door of the empty room opened and a handsome man had entered, "well, well. First time in forever we got a hot one, isn't it?" he chuckled evilly. The boys had gotten up instantly and exited the room, leaving me with this man, lurking over my small figure, studying it carefully. I gulped.
'You are beautiful", he brushed his hand down my inner thigh, I held a cry down my throat.
This will be a very unpleasant experience, for sure.
