Something I noticed since I started Signal high school: When you think you've seen it all there might just be something crying or speaking French right around the corner.

I woke up, got dressed, and went to school as usual. It was the day after the party, so Monday. It was also the start of my second week of school but for me, Oscar and Weiss we were a bit more worried about Cardin, turns out he heard what Weiss's balloons had done to his girlfriend's house and he was not happy.

"Don't worry we'll be fine," assured Oscar "Huh?" I questioned "That's your worried face," he said pointing at me "You arch your eyebrows in the same funny way every time you're worried" he explained "I do not" I protested "Yes you do," said Weiss not even looking up from her book. We were in our usual bench next to our lockers. "Anyways-" I started trying to change the subject "What new classes do we have today?" I asked "French and Math" answered Weiss

"Yay~More teachers" cheered Oscar sarcastically, I nudged him and asked, "So why didn't we have French and Math last week?" Weiss looked up from her book "Well our French teacher, Ms. Chevrolet, is moving from France her flight was canceled so she arrived on Saturday. I think we didn't have math because Ms. Choi was dealing with some out-of-school issues" she said. A few minutes later the bell rang so we headed to French.

We entered room 275 it was empty except for the teacher. We would've missed Ms. Chevrolet if she hadn't screamed "Bonjour!" we jumped back a little Oscar and I greeted her and Weiss introduced herself "Oh hello!, I'm Weiss Schnee I suppose we're a bit early, did you have a nice flight?" she asked. Ms. Chevrolet looked at her weirdly then her eyes widened "Oh! Vous devez être mes nouveaux étudiants, entrez!" she said. We laughed a little "I'm sorry we don't speak French, well not yet" I explained. The teacher just looked at us then pointed at three desks "Veuillez vous asseoir, les cours vont bientôt commencer," she said

"Um......e-excuse me could you repeat that maybe in English?" asked Oscar "Eh bien, vous aimez certainement parler tous les Trois! Mais je dois préparer mon matériel. Pourriez-vous vous asseoir?" she repeated and pointed to the three desks again. We sat down and looked at each other until Weiss spoke up "Oh no~" she said "What? Why 'Oh no'? What do you mean 'Oh no'?" I asked. Weiss paused and looked at us dead in the eye "......I don't think she speaks English" she said.

I felt my face go pale "W-what? How can that be?" I asked "Think about it-" started Weiss "-She came from France, only talks in French, and she doesn't seem to understand English"

"Oh for the gods!" exclaimed Oscar and plopped his head down on his desk.

5 minutes later Flint and Neon arrived "Hello, you must be Ms. Chevrolet!" greeted a cheery Neon "Don't bother," said Weiss. Flint and Neon looked confused "What? Why?" asked Flint "Bonjour! S'il te plaît assieds-toi, oh j'aime ta tenue colorée madame!" complimented Ms. Chevrolet. Flint and Neon looked at us for an explanation "Just take a seat" said Oscar. The pair sat down and Weiss explained the situation

".........What?" asked Flint even more confused than before "We don't think she speaks English" repeated Weiss "T-that's......that's so.......Cool!" exclaimed Neon.

Once everybody had arrived and we had explained the situation to everybody, the class started. I don't think Ms. Chevrolet knows that we can't understand her so I just pretended to take notes.

"Ok classe, aujourd'hui nous allons apprendre l'histoire de la France! Qui est excité? Eh, bien, je sais que je le suis. Commençons par-"

"Well that was something," said Weiss as we headed to room 115 for math. We entered and again, were the first ones there except for the teacher. A short Korean lady with long black hair, "Okay if she starts speaking Korean I'm out" said Oscar. We laughed a little, that's when Ms. Choi noticed us "Oh-Hello, I wasn't expecting anyone so soon" she said tiredly "Please take a seat" we did as told and waited for the rest of the class to show up.

"This one seems normal," stated Weiss as we watched Ms.Choi write on the board "Don't jinx it," I warned. Some minutes later students started appearing and were surprised to see that the teacher wasn't: standing on his/her desk, Sleeping, running around the room, screaming or making us do 100 bench presses (Long story).

The bell rang and Ms. Choi started her lesson 'So far so good' I thought. She was teaching us how to solve a type of equation I didn't really get it, I'm horrible at math. Then she got to the answer and that's when everything went downhill.

"So class if you did step two properly and multiplied, your answer should be 26-" she suddenly stopped and started to tear up fast 'Oh no-' I thought 'Here we go' "-Oh! I'm so sorry you have to see me like this class-" she said in-between sobs "Is just that-26 was my ex-boyfriend's favorite number!" she exclaimed and continued to cry "It was also the age of the girl he left me for!" she wept.

At this point, this didn't surprise the class. We've basically seen it all. She continued to explain the equation in-between tears and cries while the rest of the class watched awkwardly. Every time she calmed down just the slightest bit something else would remind her of her ex-boyfriend, Andrew. By the time class was over Ms. Choi was lying on her desk, sobbing telling us the story of Andrew and how he broke her heart. "This is going to be some long~ four years" murmured Oscar.

The day was over and we left. I could already see the parking lot when I felt something push me from behind. I would've fallen face first if Oscar hadn't caught me from behind, he and Weiss helped me up and I heard laughing from behind. I knew that laughter.

"Well, boys look what we've got here If it isn't the official losers from Signal high school" announced Cardin as his friends/goons held up their fingers to their foreheads in an L-shape.

"What do you want Cardin?," asked Oscar coldly "Now, now you're already in enough trouble don't get me madder," he said and took a step forward, We took one back.

"You three don't have the slightest idea of what you did, do you?" he asked. Before we had a chance to answer, he continued. "Thanks to that 'paint job' Lexi got in big trouble with her parents and isn't allowed to see me anymore," said Cardin.

"Look, We told you, It was an accident-" I said "-Yeah, Weiss didn't mean to ruin Lexi's living room" assured Oscar "Well, she still did" snarled Cardin as he took some more steps forward.

"Is something wrong here?!" asked the usual strict, high-pitched voice of Ms. Wilson. Cardin and his goons stopped dead on their tracks "N-no Ms. Wilson we were just making sure these youngsters got to their car safely" said Cardin in a very fake innocent tone.

"Youngsters?" questioned Oscar "We are two years younger than them" I just shrugged. I could see Ms.Wilson didn't buy his act but she had no proof of anything "Well Mr. Windchester I'm sure they can manage, you three on the other hand still owe me detention today" she said pointing at the three teenagers "So please, follow me" Ms. Wilson started walking away.

Cardin and the others followed her but not before pointing at us and dragging their thumbs over their throats. I gulped. 'Oh just great' I thought.

Once they were gone Weiss spoke up "S-sorry about that" she apologized while rubbing her shoulder, it surprised me she had stayed quiet during this encounter, she usually can't stand bullies. They're like she puts it 'A group of vile teenagers that like to harm, intimidate, and oppress younger individuals'.

"What are you sorry for?" I asked "Yeah, how's it your fault Cardin's such a jerk?" asked Oscar "N-no it's that I was the one who ruined Lexi's house yet we're all paying the price" she apologized. "Hey, we made a promise to each other that we'll stick together no matter what," I said "So don't think we'll abandon you just because of this small obstacle. Forever and three more years remember?" Weiss smiled at us.

"Yeah, besides who's going to help us with homework?" joked Oscar. Weiss punched him lightly and we heard a car honking "Well, Klein's here" said Weiss "Let's go home I want to see if I can download a translator so we'll be able to understand our teacher" I said "Oh yes I almost forgot-" said Oscar "Please remember me to bring some tissues to math class tomorrow" we all laughed and headed home.
