Remember when I told you

It was strange how it feels so right that they are here together, this coincidence of them being casted together and how their own personal background mirrors the TV show so much.

I could never let you go
Couldn't run away if I tried

They had their own relationships, ones that blossomed and then failed and then they had each other. Being together for them means being together as moral support, the shoulder to cry on when stress gets too much and being the push for the other to push themselves to be better at their craft.

That too also blossomed into something so much more, something foreign and scary but they cannot not pursue this, not when their life threads are just too entangled together; even if this will shift the equilibrium of their life, they need to still try.

And I'll always let you know
That I'm always gonna hold on

They tried to the best they can even when work, studies and family are hard to juggle together. Finally they decided that being together is already hard work as it is, to hide this is going to take another toll on them. They decided to tell the world disregarding any potential backlash as long as their hands are holding on to one another.

Even when we go through changes
Even when we're old

Everyone told them that this will not work out. That this is just infatuation arising from working day in day out together, that they were just experimenting, that when one goes to further his studies, their flimsy foundation will rock and collapse like a house of cards.

The older did go to pursue his studies while the younger stayed on working in the entertainment business. Sly nosy questions and rumours float around, some directly addressed to the younger and some behind his back. He just smiled in that bright smile of his, he is indifferent to them because he knows better.

The younger arrived home after the recording of his second album, it is way too late but then for one's passion and art, who is he to complain especially when his lover is also working hard to achieve his dreams.

Being as tired as he is, he missed all the signs which is as glaring as they can be; the wind drifting in from the opened windows, the scent of body wash from the damp bathroom, the bedroom door left ajar. He stopped in his tracks. The someone is supposed to come back in two weeks time after he graduate. That someone is now standing in front of him, a soft smile on his face, arms wide open.

Remember that I told you
I'll find my way back home

They lie cuddled in each other embrace as they drifted to sleep. At the end of the day, they are each others home and will always find their way home.

A/N: this is a prompt from Ppisces79 on the song by Shaun - Way back home which she mentioned feels like SK's story and I do agree.😄 Italics are lines from the song which I shuffled around. And... I have been swamped with work and when I am not working, I just roll around in bed reading. Hopefully I get more inspired with all the upcoming fan meetings especially the Vietnam one.
