DESCRIPTION : NEXT TOP MODEL [ 다음 상위 모델 ] is a 2019 south korean reality tv series and interactive competition in which many different aspiring models compete for the title of " korea's next top model " and win a contract of 4+ years under ESTEEM, one of south korea's top modeling agencies. out of 25 talented female models, only 1 will make it to the top
PREVIEW : 2 initial trailers are released
EPISODE 1 : all girls are introduced with short interviews of their first impressions of each other. initial mcs are introduced and judges are introduced to the contestants. first mission is revealed and contestants start choosing which rooms they will be staying in.
EPISODE 2 : girls are shown moving into their rooms with personal vlogs for a contestant in each room. girls are taken to their first photoshoot where they are able to complete their first mission. missions are turned in and given time to be graded by judges.
EPISODE 3 : judges go over the missions and discuss their opinions. judges choose their top 5 contestants they believe have the most potential. contestants are shown throughout they regular dorm lives with more vlog time. scores for first mission are released and top 5 for that week are displayed.
EPISODE 4 : first elimination takes place and the eliminated girls are asked to leave the dorm. top 5 girls receive bonuses and are given the chance to pick their groups for the next mission. second mission is announced and mission groups are revealed.
EPISODE 5 : contestants pick their top 5 visuals out of the 25 contestants. second mission results are revealed. judges discuss and look over the missions. second elimination takes place and the eliminated girls are asked to leave the dorm. top 5 girls receive bonuses and are given bonuses for their accomplishments
EPISODE 6 : remaining girls embark on a scavenger hunt to find their next mission. third mission is officially announced and girls are taken to meet a well renowned model. they learn techniques and are given a chance to use them for their third mission. third missions are turned in and judges discuss.
EPISODE 7 : third elimination takes place and the eliminated girls are asked to leave the dorm. remaining girls are given a chance to change they looks and go through a total makeover. final mission is released and girls are taken to the photoshoot. they are able to meet the top models of korea and shoot makeup commercials. final missions are turned in and judges start discussing
EPISODE 8 : all contestants are invited back for an end of the show party. families of the top 5 contestants are brought to party. final elimination takes place and korea's next top model of cycle one is announced.
ENDING : korea's next top model from cycle 1 is shown signing her contract under ESTEEM. all contestants of cycle 1 are brought together for the last time. cycle 2 plans are announced and trailer is released.
