Hey, my name is Camryn, thank you for reading this. This is my first story on here. So I hope you like it.

Chapter one

"Koda, are you coming to the dance next Friday?" My friend Alex asked. I leaned up against my locker and sighed, "it's not required is it?" I asked mournfully. She gave me a look, her look, nobody could ever deny that look. She always gave me that look when she wanted me to go places. I never liked going places. Not because of my numerous piercings, my multicolored hair, nor my clothing choices.

I just frankly, cannot stand other people. Alex grabbed my arm and tugged me into a standing position. "Hey I was comfortable there," I teased her with a smirk. She rolled her eyes, "I know, I know, but you have to come with me. I don't have a date, you don't have a date, we can get Angel and go!"

I sighed, "I don't know about that, I don't even have a dress." Alex gave me her look again, "please Koda, please!"

I rolled my head back with a loud groan, "alright! I'll go, I'll go." I leaned on my locker, or was about to until Alex grabbed my arms and started jumping like a high kangaroo.

"Alex, Alex, Alex! Stop it. Too lazy. Stop." Yet, I couldn't stop laughing. The only time I've seen her this happy is when we had finally gotten into Warped Tour. Which was happily coming up in a few months.

"Okay, okay sorry. Let's go get Angel and tell her!" Alex squealed. She grabbed my hand and started into a full sprint down the hallway, there was still half an hour before school started, but we always got there early so we could talk.

"Why do we have to run?!" I yelled. She didn't answer, just kept running. But, before I could get my bearings, we slammed to a holt. Oh god..

"Hello maggots." It was Molly...

Chapter 2

Alex kept her head down, keeping ahold of my hand. We tried to walk around her, but Molly moved swiftly in front of our path again. "Molly, please move." I asked her quietly.

"I didn't know maggots could talk! Is this a new scientific discovery that hasn't been released to the public yet?" Molly was giving us her ugly smirk. Her short black hair barely covering her chubby pimple covered face.

"If anything your the maggot, maggot Molly, I don't know. Has a good ring to it to me." Alex snapped back. My eyes filled with fear, I knew this wouldn't end well. "What did you just say to me?" Molly moved closer, towering a good foot over us. I tightened my grip on Alex's hand and pushed her behind me. "You heard her, and she's right. Got a problem?" I looked into her pale green eyes, with my intense blue ones.

"Yeah, I have a problem with being forced to breathe the same air as you maggots." Is that really the only thing she can say?

"Are you really that stupid or is that all you can come up with right now?" I asked, smirking. I could tell Alex was trying not to laugh.

Molly opened her mouth to speak, but quickly closed it again. With a loud groan she stomped away.

"To Angel?" Alex asked. "To Angel," I agreed.

We slowed our pace, walking outside to the big, shady Oak tree a few yards from the school. There, we saw Angel. Laying on her back looking up at the full summer leaves, bobbing her head to the music blasting from her head phones. Even from a few feet away, I could tell she was listening to A Day To Remember, All Signs Point To Lauderdale. That song perfectly describes this town. Alex and I ran over to her and laid our head on her stomach, looking up at the leaves with her. The perfect amount of sunlight shining through the full green leaves, with the faint smell of oak around us. Angel smiled and took her head phones out. "Hello my lovelies, how are you two doing today?" Angel got her nickname because of her piercings. She has Angel bites and gauges, I, myself, have snake bites, gauges, a septum piercing, a belly ring and six other piercings in my ear, Alex has spider bites, a side nose ring, a belly button ring and gauges.
