((Sorry this took such a long time, I WAS SO BUSY. But I had already pre-written it, and I just forgot to post it.))
Natsuko POV
I'm dashing through the streets, renewed energy inside of me. Yes, back then, I was selfish and whiny. I caused the deaths of my parents. Sure I'll just pretend I don't really care, since I don't remember them at all. Mostly.
I run towards the hospital that I was in before, even though I was unconscious when I got out of it. I look up at the tall building, and wonder what floor I was on. As I walk through the big double doors, a wave of cold hits me like a wall, and I wish I'd brought something other than my green, short-sleeved hoodie. Then I smell it again, that hospital smell of sick people and not enough bleach to cover up the sadness of knowing you're here for the rest of your life, if not a few months at the least.
There in the lobby, I see him, waiting for me. I walk up to him, and he scowls at me. "I didn't see you," he says, "You blend in so well with the white background."
"Well, you stick out like the weirdo you are," I say, sniffing and turning my head away.
"Anyway, let's go." He says, grabbing my hand and pulling me up the stairs, into a room like the one I was in before. There on the bed, is a familiar face. I gasp, and a single tear escapes my eye.
"Mother." I walk towards her, and grasp her hand. He slaps my hand away, scowling at me fiercely. "You," he says, "have no right to touch her."
I take a step back. "You're right. I—this was my fault."
"So you admit it!"
"I remember now." I say, with my head down. "I was selfish, wondering when we would get home, and I-I distracted dad, and the car went out of control—" I break off, tears spilling from my eyes.
I don't know what I expected him to do, but he does nothing, which surprises me. All he does is look away, tears in his eyes also. We're both quiet, until a voice calls out to us. "Hello there." It's a soft voice, and I barely heard it, but my head snaps to the bed, as does his. Her eyes are open, a pale green. Her fair blond hair is spread out along her pillow. "Why do you look so sad?"
We gasp, and run to her side. "I'm so glad you're alright!" Onii-san exclaims, and I nod vigorously. I don't touch her, or clasp her hand, like he does. I still don't think that I deserve to.
"I am too," She says. There's something about her look that seems wrong, and a little familiar. Nii-san notices it also, and he shies away a little. "What's wrong?"
"I-I'm sorry, but do I know you?"

We were outside the building now. Onii-san snapped, and he was yelling at me, pushing me, behind the hospital. I was taking every blow. I deserve it, after all.
"This was your fault!" he screams, tears pouring out of his eyes. "You should just die!" He pushes me into the trash cans, and the hard, jagged metal scrapes my back. He punches just below my collarbone, where the book hit. I still have a bruise there, and my chest burns, sucks all the air out of my lungs. Tears of pain are forced out of my eyes, and I sink to the ground, head in my hands.
"I-I'm sorry—"
"Sorry?!" He exclaimed, looking skeptical. "You're sorry?! It's too late for sorries." He kicks out at me, and I smash into the wall. The out-of-place bricks cut into my skin, but I make no sound. "I can't believe you. Don't bother coming home. Ever. You're not welcome."
