Seto POV

Suko and I were in the back of a van, on a high bridge. I'm about to say something, but Suko pushes my head behind the seat. "Shh! Get down! This has happened to me before." She whispered. "We have a physical presence here. We could really screw something up, if they notice us."

"Who—?"

"Wah~ Mom, Dad, are we there yet?" that voice... it sounded exactly like Suko's. I peeked out over the seats, and I saw a head of short white hair.

"Suko..."

"This is the day of the crash." She said, looking away and down to feet.

"H-how?"

"I—this has happened to me before." She repeated. "But it wasn't like this."

"We'll be there soon," said a male voice from the driver's seat.

"Father..."

"Yeah, sweetie, just hold on a bit longer." A female voice from the passenger seat.

"Mother..."

I look down at Suko. She's hugging her knees, head down. When she looks up at me, her face is soaked with tears. "Seto... why can't I remember?"

"You—you can't remember?"

"No. I don't remember anything before August 16, this year. I don't know what they look like. I don't know my way around. It's horrible."

"What—" before I could finish, a whiny voice rang out.

"It's been so long~!"

Suko's father looked at her. "We'll be back home soon," he said, while the mother was panicking.

"The road—look at the road!"

Before I knew it, the car was swerving, and Suko's father was struggling to get it under control. "The wheel—it's not working—why now?" the car was plunging off the bridge, and just before it hit, everything went dark.

We were back in the base now.

"What happened?" I asked. I looked across from me, at Suko. She stumbled and fell on one knee. We tried to help her up, but she gave us a weak smile and waved us off. "I'm fine," she said. "Just a little tired." That's what she said, but her mind was reeling. ((A/N That's what she said))

All my fault, it was all my fault, my parents died because of me, all my fault—

I hadn't realized my power was still on, and I quickly turned it off.

BRRING!!

Suko's phone rang, vibrating in her pocket. Suko muttered some things, and gingerly plucked the phone out of her pocket. "Hello... this is she... our—why would you want to do something like that? I don't even want to talk to you. After you did something like that... wasn't you?! You hate me! How can I just go around not thinking it was you?!... Why, you ask? You threw a freaking book at me, that's why!... Now? Why?" her eyes were getting wider and wider by the second. "...Impossible. You can't just drop something like that on me out of the blue like that—it's not my fault! Yeah, you can, but when you're wrong, I'll whoop your ass..." she pressed a button on the phone. She stared at it, in awe.

"N-no way..." she said, dropping the phone. The air around her gave off a strange aura as she said, "I've got to go."

She dashed to the door, bangs hiding her eyes. Before she went, Mary called out. "Suko-chan, where are you going?"

She paused, not looking at Mary. "I've got to go." She repeated, and dashed out.

I picked up the dropped phone. "Oh no..."

"Nani?!" Kido pressed me. "What is it?"

I showed them the picture, and the caption below it.

This is her... they found mom.

Okay, I am very irritated right now.

Why, you ask?

But when I got there, I got a new hoodie, so it's not all bad.
