It's snowing.

And you knock on my door

With snowflakes

Floating down

And scattered across

Your soft hair.

You pass me a hot drink

And I let you in.

We sit on the sofa

And watch a movie

But soon I fall asleep

On your chest

But you don't mind.

You fall asleep with me

And that's how my mother finds us.

Asleep together in the couch

As the snow falls gently outside

No longer

In your hair.

You don't leave that night.

My mother

Goes out to her friends

And says she'll be back

In the morning.

You sleep in my bed

Your heart pressed

Against mine.

I tell you that I've never felt

so happy

And warm.

You smile.
