Emely McGregor

That Morning

Summer, the best time of the year: there's no school, no homework and the best of all, you can sleep until like noon. Well, the last one doesn't always happen. Like for example this morning at the McGregor's house, when they woke up at 9:00 A.m to the sound of a woman knocking the door.
A few seconds after the knocking sound stopped Mrs. McGregor came into Emely's bedroom. - Emely come down stairs quickly- she said in a you-are-in-trouble voice then, she left. Emely changed b quickly into a white top with some blue jeans. She went down stairs an saw that there was a sitting on the blue sofa with silver lining. Her mother called her over. And she sat on the sofa next to her mom.
- hello, Emely, I'm professor Gregory - the woman said - hello, professor Gregory, am I in trouble? - Emely said - in trouble? No, of course not - Professor Gregory said- then, why are you here? - Emely asked - well, Emely, I'm here to tell you that you're a witch - professor Gregory said - excuse are you insulting my daughter - said Mrs. McGregor outraged - no, your daughter has magical abilities - professor Gregory said - is this a joke? - Mrs McGregor asked now Angry - no, no... look read the letter it might help you understand - said professor McGregor handing Emely an envelope.
Emely saw that the envelope had a sort of logo on the wax. It had a pentagon divided in five each of them had an animal. The top left part had a mare under it was a beautiful bird that looked almost mystical next to it was a weird animal she couldn't recognize and next to it was a snake with three horns above it was a wolf and in the middle was a circle with something she couldn't identify because of the wax. On the back it said: to: miss Emely McGregor from: Anguis school of witchcraft and wizardry then Emely opened the Envelope saw that there was two papers and then started to read out loud:

Miss Emely McGregor:

You've accepted into Anguis School of witchcraft and wizardry. Students are supposed to arrive by portkey on August 29th at 8:30 a.m. ( which  is sent by owl ) . we've sent a professor to clear any doubts. There is a list of the school materials and how to get them.

- is this a joke? - said Mrs. McGregor even angrier - no, this is really serious - said professor Gregory in a please-don't-be mad-voice - really, then what on earth is a portkey? - said Mrs McGregor still mad - well, a portkey is an object that teleports people at a specific time - said professor Gregory In a matter of fact voice - prove it - said Mrs. McGregor outraged- ok - said professor Gregory taking a wooden stick out. He turned twice and then said Wingardium Leviosa pointing at a pen in the desk. The pen in the desk levitated and fallowed the tip of the wand. Emely opened her mouth in amusement, then professor Gregory let the pen descend slowly in the table and said - do you believe me now? - Mrs. McGregor was speechless, she took a deep breath and said - can you tell me more about this Anguis school? - well, it is a magic school, as you may noticed, students stay there... but don't worry you can comunícate by owl and all the details on how to get the school materials are on the list - he said - what do you mean by owl? Can't I just call her on the phone...- Mrs. McGregor asked - what's a phone?- asked professor Gregory - well, it's an electronic device  and - I'm sorry to interrupt - said professor Gregory interrupting Mrs. McGregor - but, if it is a electric device it doesn't work at the school because of the no-mag repelling enchantments, now Emely pleas read the second paper - Emely putted away the first paper and took the second one and started to read out loud:
