"The day before tomorrow"

Is August 28th, a day before the 29th ( when Emely leaves). the sky is sunny the day is perfect to go outside and play, eat ice cream and have some good smoothies.
- hi, mom - said Emely to her mother
- hi sweetie, are you excited?
- um... I don't know. I'm kinda nervous
- don't worry sweet heart you're going to do just fine.
There was a nock on the window so loud you'll think some soccer ball hit it.
- oh, those kids again, ho much do I hate them! - said Mrs. McGregor walking up to the door.
- um.. mom look at the window- said Kiara who just came to the kitchen.
- oh, dear - said Mrs. McGregor. There was a big black and white owl poking the window harder and harder.
- I think that's the portkey - said Emely
- that thing is supposed to transport you? You're crazy - said Kiara speaking to Emely for the first time in weeks
- what do we do? - asked Emely
- I think it has something to do with that school because he said mom could comunícate by owl- answered Kiara with a manner-of-fact-voice.
- that's it!, the owl must be caring the portkey, because in the letter said "which is sent by owl" - said Emely quite excited. Kiara walked towards the window and opened it. The black and white owl flew inside and stopped next to Emely taking out her leg.
- see, it has a package attached to it - said Emely with a i-told-you-voice
- ok, so you were right, happy? - said Kiara
- I'm sorry - said Emely tears falling out of her eyes
- I'm sorry two, it's just that we were always together and now you're leaving and... - said Kiara
- well, we can talk by owl - said Emely smiling
- yes, we can - said Kiara now smiling. The two sisters gave each other a big hug.
- so, are we going to open it or not? - said Emely drying her tears.
- of course - said Kiara taking a  pair of scissors. Emely was holding the package while Kiara was cutting the top part. Inside was another Envelope looking just like the one of a few weeks ago, and a silver can.
- Maybe it's explained in the letter? - said Emely
- yes, Maybe - both opened the letter very carefully. Then they took the piece of paper inside and started to read:

Mrs. Emely McGregor ,
Instructions for the use of the portkey:

1. Wait to the date and  time written on the first letter.
2. Touch the portkey on the exact time
3. Wait until it teleports you

Warning: if it is the first time, it constantly gets students dizzy. We recommend eating a lemon drop before and after using it.

- I guess the can is the portkey - said Kiara
- well there isn't any other object...- said Emely in a it-has-to-be-voice

After this Emely placed the letter and the candidate on top of her dark brown desk and spend the rest of the day talking to her sister who now talked to her.

They talked for hours until it was dark when Mrs. McGregor came and ask them to come out for dinner. Kiara smiled and went down first, then, Emely went down.

It was all very dark, when Emely went down, she couldn't see anything. She wondered how Kiara went down but as long as she arrived to the kitchen it all was clear.
- surprise! - shouted a couple of Emely's friends, surprisedly Staceywas not between them.
- what? What's this?- asked Emely speechless
- we wanted to make something special before you go, so we made a surprise pijama party, enjoy - said Kiara
Emely was very happy. Her sister was talking to her... she was with her friends... and was just about to go to a very exciting school! What could go wrong?
Emely and her friends went into Emely's room in there she danced with Kiara and a couple of her friends making silly faces and weird dance moves. The we're taking their tongues out  and stretching their mouths when Stacey came into the room, with a girl Emely couldn't identify. The girls hair has long, black and so shiny that Emely thought it could be recognized from a mile away. Who is her - she thought - And  why on earth would she be at my home?, had Stacey replaces me as her best friend? - all this thoughts just keep popping in her head like the repetitive adds that always appear on YouTube while washing videos only that they just annoyed Emely this thoughts worried, annoyed and even confused Her.
Emely took a deep breath and walked towards Stacey and her friend or what ever she was and said in a almost noticeable fake empathy - hi, Stacey, good to se you - oh, hi Emely, I'm sorry I couldn't get here in time I had some problems - said Stacey - well, who's this? - Emely asked now in a fake excitement voice - well, this is Angelica Potter, she's going to the same boarding school that you so I thought you could meet her - said Stacey almost as if she knew what Emely was thinking - so when did you meet her? - asked Emely now actually interested - well, I was walking in the neighborhood to see if I could know who were going to be the new kids before the school year started (as always) and I saw her walking quite lost so I asked her if she was going to go into our school and she said that she wasn't, that she was actually going to a boarding school so I asked if she was going to marble school and she said yes so I invited her over - Stacey said - cool, I'm Emely McGregor, I'm also going to marble school - said Emely turning to Angelica, then she realized that there was no marble school, and what would happen if Angelica went there and told Stacey that she wasn't there. It would be her end but she couldn't worry about that now she had a lot to do and cover up. - hi, Emely, I hope I don't bother you coming to your home - said Angelica with a normal toned voice - oh, don't worry about that, I'm looking for friends at my new school - said Emely. Angelica's face turned a little pink as if she was just reminded of something bad she had done - yeah, right... school - she said a little nervous - come dance with us - said Stacey who was now with Kiara, Maria and Kira dancing. Angelica and Emely joined them making silly faces and all until the music stopped because of wifi problems.

- what should we do? - asked Kira ( another of Emely's friends - I don't know - said Stacey - What about crafting stuff? - said Angelica - I know! We should bake cupcakes!! - said Emely excited - great idea let's do it - said Kiara standing up from Emely's bed. They  went downstairs into the kitchen. And stated looking for a recipe on the internet. - I've found one! - Kira said - what are the ingredients - Angelica asked - it says here  31/2 cups of flour, one spoon of baking soda, 1/2 cup of butter 21/2 cups of sugar,  3 eggs
A spoon of vanilla and 1/2 cup of vegetable oil - answered Kira - so let get to gather them - said Angelica. - excuse, but how are you? - asked Maria walking towards the fridge - oh... I'm Angelica Potter, I'm going to go to same boarding school that Emely - said Angelica holding a big bad of flour - I thought it would be great if they became friends before they actually went, it should make things easier - said Stacey - isn't that what you do every year... you become and find friends to the new kids of our year before they actually start? I thought you made that to gain votes for the elections of the president of our grade  - said Maria - well, you're wrong, it does at a little bonus, but I do it for helping others just like I was helped when I was the new kid !! If o did for votes I wouldn't have wasted my time on Angelica!! - said Stacey outraged - well, that proves nothing, you probably did it to help Emely as a payment of how she helped you when we were is first grade! - said Maria as if she was proving a crime in a court - no I didn't do it because of that! - said Stacey hitting the table with a vegetable oil bottle - ok - said Emely breaking the tension - I see you guys haven't gone over the last presidential election of our year... - she said putting her right had with the baking soda between them. The room was silent for a few moments until Kira talked - so now we have all the ingredients ... - they all started to read and fallow  the instructions still in silence but a little calmer then in the beginning however Emely kept being between  Maria and Stacey just for precaution and Maria and Stacey kept throwing bad looks at each other and Kiara, Kira and Angelica kept looking at them as if they were going to start fighting at any moment. They finally finished making the dough and put it into the oven. They sat in the living room and started talking about their school materials. Then they ate the cupcakes which Emely didn't really liked because they were to big and salty. And finally watched a horror movie until Mrs. McGregor came into the room told them to sleep.

Emely had the very best day of her life. It was just perfect. The only bad thing was that it was all over and that she now had to start a whole new life. She had to meet some new friends, study some stuff she had never heard about, and worst of all she had to spend six months without seeing her sister. After thinking this Emely felt suddenly less excited about leaving, however she still wanted to go.
