My muscles freeze from pure fear. I see black tendrils curling up my torso then pull me under the water. Thrashing and panicking I'm uncremoniously thrown into a bush.

"What the actual fuck..." I whisper as I take in my surroundings. I'm in a bush outside of a elaborate temple. The crumbling sandstone is carved with delicate designs and runes.

"Boujee." I say flatly, standing up I carefully place a hand on the hilt of my sword. The architecture suggests that the previous inhabitants were advanced in both agriculture and construction. For there are large mills and stores. With a cautious hand on my sword I explore the area. Curious looking creatures poke their small heads from their burrows and nests. Smiling I keep walking towards a near by creek. The sun beats down on my back. Humans would normally be uncomfortable but since I'm used to being in literal Hell I'm used to intense heat. Just as I crouch down to dip my hands into the cool water I hear a twig snap behind me.

I spin around with my sword drawn and ready for a fight. But what I see is a huge mass of shadow. It looks slightly human shaped but at least eight or nine feet tall. It flicks it's fingers and my sword goes flying out of my hands. I go to dive for it but the shadow bastard flings me against a tree. Gasping I pull myself up to my feet. Raising both of my hands I use my only line of defense. Magic. Creating a ball of flame the size of a softball in between my hands I throw it as hard as I possibly can. The shadow bastard opens a hole in its chest where the ball would have hit and closes it. I stare in an odd mixture of horror, curiosity, and panic. Suddenly it disappears.

"Umm. Alright then." I say as I creep towards my sword. Hearing the whoosh of a portal I spin around this time and throw a knife. My eyes widen in cruel realization that I just attacked a random angel. His pristine white uniform now stained with blood from his bleeding cheek. He has sun gold blonde hair windswept from the travel, he also has a generals pin on his chest.

Great I not only attacked an angel but a general, fuck my life in the ass. I give him a bland stare.

"I am General Maxwell Sladder, I demand that you put down your weapons immediately." He readies his longbow with a steel tipped arrow at my chest. Seeing that I don't want to get myself into deeper shit than I'm already in I comply. I drop my sword and all nineteen knives that I have left.

"Very good. Now you will answer my questions truthfully. Do you understand." His voice rings with authority. I nod in response. As I stare at him I start to notice all the small details. He is tall and very muscular, his eyes are blue like the sky, and has the chiseled features of a Greek god.

Fucking great I'm dealing with a pretty boy general who just happens to be an angel. Alaric where the fuck are you when I need your dumbass? General Sladder stares at me.

"Well get on with it then!" I shout at him.

"What is your name."

"Crown Princess Kalypso." The general narrows his eyes in suspicion.

"State your purpose on Eden."

"I don't have one."

"Liar."

"Listen Asswell I don't give a flying fuck whether or not you believe me but I did not come here willingly. I fell into a body of water and went through a FUCKING PORTAL and landed here." I retort. General Sladder didn't like being called Asswell because he is giving me the death stare.

"Stay here I will return with my other generals." He casts a portal spell and disappears.
