Moon child 🌙

On her own

Moon child travelled deserts to find where she would call home,
But for now she was on her own.
The sun was coming up and the earth filled with light.
And to Moon child it truly was a magnificent sight.
"Hello Mercury", a voice called from the ground
Moon child jumped "What was that sound?"
But Moon child knew she had found a friend
And she didn't want this moment to ever end.
Moon child whispered" I've been looking for you"
And Earth whispered back "I've been to".
Moon child looked around but earth wasn't there!
If this was her imagination this wouldn't be fair!
"Where are you earth i haven't quite found-
Earth cut her off "im the ground".
"I'm also the world you're living on me"
"Oh I get it now I can see".
