Knocking out two of his friends without much effort, Ice tapped his finger under his chin while looking through the given words once more. Ah, so many choices could be made, but being "the most straight-forward person" and weirdest walking dictionary ever existed, Ice would only come up with the best.

"Even so I can't find any words suit you better than "annoying", Thunderstorm." Ice feigned a defeated pose.

Earthquake raised an eyebrow before said person began to yell, "I think "fierce" will do?"

"I didn't see Thundy so fierce when trying to confess his love towards Cy. He looked like a pathetic seal."

"You're being too honest, but seriously, I agree with you." Ice smiled fondly at his grinning lover.

The Ruby eyes owner had never felt more irritated, "Shut up you little...!"

Earthquake shoved two cookies into Thunderstorm's mouth, "We already know you possess a colorful dictionary, keep it to yourself."

"Mmm!"

"Nice response."

Ice snickered. Earthquake never ceased to amaze him how well he managed their family. With a sense of sarcasm, of course.

He inhaled.

"And, I have to say thank you."

All eyes were on Ice.

"You did a good job in our battle against Retak'ka, moving like a stubborn fly around him at dizzying speed. Annoying indeed."

Before Thunderstorm could wonder why Ice compared him to a fly, he found himself struggle to prevent the blush from creeping into his face. Stay calm, stay cool.

Ice continued, "Your attack was impressive, to say the least. I have to admit you're one of our best fighters."

Blaze waved his hand, "Just explode already."

"You shut up!"

Ice snickered one more. He did enjoy embarassing people.

"But most importantly..."

His gaze softened.

"You, managed to make it out alive."

Silence.

Thunderstorm looked at Ice.

Ice smiled.

Thank you for trying your best to survive, so that we still had some hope to cling to. Because you're one of our best fighters. A violent thunder that strikes non-stop, the heart of an attack, destroys everything that bears ill will towards our family.

Thunderstorm blinked, then blushed madly. Everybody gazed at him, Blaze shrugged, "Boom~!"

It's surprising how many things they could share via thoughts only, but hey, they were family after all.

Though you remain annoying as hell.
