"I want to go home." "And I want to go to the moon. It ain't happening, sweetheart. Time to accept that."
Character POV
===========================
I was walking behind him by a few feet. Though I didn't like him, he was my bodyguard. My father had left me with no choice.

We were walking the opposite way of where my grandmother lived, where I was hiding from my Father. I looked back at the man in front of me, then to his feet.

"I want to go home." I said stopping. He turned around and looked me in the eyes.

"And I want to go to the moon." He turned around. "It ain't happening, sweetheart. Time to accept that."

I looked at him angrily, ready to yell at him, but ended up saying nothing. Mainly because, no matter how much I wanted to fight with him on the subject he was right. I couldn't just have a normal life like any other teenager.

"I know you don't want to be apart of the mafia, ma'am." He walked back to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "But you were born into this life without a choice and you should at least try to make an effort to live up the part as a leader."

"I can't." I say, shakily. "I can't possibly kill my father just to become a leader. I cannot. You might be able to do it to anyone, but i cannot kill my father, Markus."

He stood a little still from me suddenly calling him by his name, something I normally don't do. We stood in silence besides from my obnoxious sobbing.

"Y/N," I stopped for a second and looked up to him. "If you can't do it; Then I will. I will not let you drop because I do it. You may not be able to kill him, but I will. Long before the ceremony, as though he was killed by an enemy."

"What will that do for me?"

"Make you the leader without the mess."

"Y'know," I wiped my face, getting rid of the tears. "For a boy who's about the same age as me. You don't know the difference between apathy and empathy.

"Oh, come on. Leave me alone." He started walking away again. "I don't normally take care of girls."

I smiled and started chasing after him.
