For the first time in almost a year.. I saw you
On the way there I was riding in the car, it was raining. The rain drops reminded me of my tears when we had bad times in the past.
Although everything reminds me of you, so it wasn't surprising my mind was wrapped around memories.
The driver told me, "Got to be careful when you go visit an ex, it never ends good." But he doesn't know you like I know you. He doesn't know US, how I know us.
I told myself when I get there I won't be too flirtatious, I won't make a move on you, I WONT look at your smile and reminisce on how that smile used to shake a dark hole into a place of happiness. I couldn't, too dangerous.
Have you ever seen someone smile, and when you look at them the only thing in the entire room is them with a beaming smile asking you to let yourself sink into the beauty of it?
