Part 18: Never Say Goodbye

We ran down the mineshaft that led to the exit as all hell broke loose.

We reached an area where there were a few branch offs.

On one of the branch offs, there was a wall of gaurds with shields and large tomahawks behind a bunch of unarmed prisoners.

They were in a push war

I saw another prisoner with a pickaxe as he killed a gaurd by impaling him with it.

Brutal.

Robin: So! We followin the plan as were supposed to?

Riker: Maybe! Since this was so unexpected, maybe we might make some changes.

Red: Lets just stick to what we got for now.

We continued through the tunnel.

A gaurd with a tomahawk and shield ran at us.

Red full on shoulder tackled him and stabbed him with a knife.

He quickly got back up.

Lazuli: Damn dude.

Me: For a man who promotes peace, you sure know how to fight!

The tunnel widened and led to a giant rusty cage elevator.

Riker: Let the prisoners go before us. Militia safety comes first.

The prisoners all filed in with theyre makeshift weapons and stolen guns while us Militiamen stayed in the back.

When the elevator got to the top, we saw about seven prisoners getting executed by a gaurd.

The elevator gate opened and a prisoner with an axe, shoved his axe into the gaurds spine.

Prisoner: FOR VICTORY!!!

We ran down the wide corridor to the exit.

It was like a hanger, with multiple large metal doors.

Prisoners were pushing on the center one.

It finally creaked open.

We heard the sound of an LMG as the cold hit our faces.

We exited to some sort of loading port that was covered in snow.

At the end was a watch tower where the LMG was slaughtering the prisoners down below.

Me and my group took cover behind a large tipped over minecart.

We heard as LMG bullets hit the cart but didnt penetrate.

Red: There! You see that!?

He pointed over to a flatbed minecart in the open.

It had an artillery peice on it.

Robin: I see what your thinking!

Lazuli: What are we gonna do about it!?

Me: Cover me!

Robin: Wait! Dont!

I ran out of cover as my team started covering me.

I ran to the artillery cannon and shot multiple gaurds on the way.

When I got to the artillery, I loaded a shell and turned it around.

I ponted it right at the tower.

I fired it.

The sound was loud.

It worked.

The top of the tower exploded and flaming ashes fell to the ground below.

Riker: YES!!! Move forward!!!
