As soon as the plane hit the sea, my head banged against the seat in front of me and made my previous headache worse. I grabbed my head and started rubbing it with my hand. I looked around me and realized that the plane was taking on water rather quickly. I unbuckled myself and got out of my chair. I remember at the beginning of the flight the flight attendants went through their monotone ramble about in the event of a crash there's a life vest in the seat. I started messing with my seat and trying to figure out where the life vest was. The water was already to my knees, when I pulled on the seat in a final attempt to find the life vest. I pulled it free and put it on. I got out of the plane and floated up to the surface.

I woke up on the beach, with someone I didn't know bent over me tapping my shoulder. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Then I remembered the crash and what happened. I quickly got to my feet and looked around me trying to figure out where I was. That's when I noticed the stranger. He had something familiar on his wrist. I looked down at mine and realized that it matched. I stared in disbelief after all this time and all my doubts he did exist. I wanted to hug him or cry or do something, but I was frozen. I eventually came out of my frozen state when he stood up that's when I pointed at my wrist where my birthmark was. He looked at his wrist and said in a thick Asian accent, "I know about the legend too, how about you come to my house and meet my family." I looked down and thought he already had a wife and kids. I held back tears while my throat was burning, as I thought that I would be alone with no soulmate. He noticed my concern and was trying to say things to clear it up. "No, no, no, by family I meant my parents and my sister." "I would love that, then you can meet mine." We got married a year later, on the same beach he found me on.
