Chapter 5

(Y/N) made her way into the staff area where most of the staff had their breaks or lunches. She gazed around the room and found a empty table to sit at. (Y/N) panicked after she saw the many staff members and other doctors from the different sections of the Ward. Once she sat down, she unpack her lunch and delicately began to eat. After a few minutes of eating, a blonde male with his hair pulled back sat across from her. She jumped at his action of sitting down and looked up in confusion and shock evident in her eyes. He was simply looking at her, as his eyes were studying her.

"Hello...may I help you?" She asked.

"My name is Eld Jinn, I'm one of the new doctors in the fifth section of the ward. And you are?"

"(Y-Y/N) (L/N), I work in the first section of the ward."

"The first section?! Wow your in some crazy stuff there, man I feel bad for you." He replied in surprised.

"Their not that bad actually. It's nice to meet you though Doctor Jinn, I'm new here. It's nice to meet a fellow doctor here!" She smiled.

"Actually I'm new here too, came her last Friday. Hey lets be friends, new doctors and all we could help each other out sometime!"

"That's a good idea Eld! Here, this is my number, text me so I know it's you."

"Yeah sure."

A tall muscular shadow loomed over (Y/N) and Eld. Erwin stood by (Y/N) holding a brown paper lunch sack as he wore a faint smile on his face.

"May I join the two of you for lunch?"

"No problem!" (Y/N) smiled at her boss as he stared at her face, trying to bleach her smile into his mind.

Erwin took a seat next to (Y/N) and opened his lunch to reveal a perfect made lunch. A perfect sandwhich with some type of meat in it, a can of cold tea inside, as well with few neatly packed snack. This reminded (Y/N) of when he dad would make her lunch before school. Erwin would make such a great dad, (Y/N) thought before shaking off the idea.

"Aren't you the new doctor in section five?"

"Yes Sir I am, it's a honor to talk to you."

"The pleasure is mine. Now (Y/N) I heard Jean had tackled you when leaving his cell. Are you alright?" Erwin said bringing his hand up to (Y/N)'s forehead and looking at her forehead to see if there was any injuries.

"I'm fine Erwin, thank you for your concern."

"I just care about you, you can never be to sure here. Jean does that mostly, as with Levi sometimes. They can get violent when trying to leave their cells."

"That explains why. I visited Marco Bodt, he was...surprising if I saw so myself."

"Marco huh? I heard he killed that nurse Nifa, he didn't pull anything on you?"

"No he was just a creepy person at first, but I have to support and correct all the way. He was very heartbroken, I could see it in his eyes...they looked empty. I hope that I can help him out and get him on the right path."

"...I do too."

The lunch went on with Eld rambling about the job and asking (Y/N) more about herself, just like friends would do. Erwin shrunk back into jealousy, how dare this peasant just intrude on him and (Y/N). Erwin's mood had grown sour as he continuously watched them interact with each other. (Y/N) lightly touching Erwin to see if he was okay. He gazed at her hand that had rested on his shoulder, although he couldn't feel it, he was sure it felt amazing.

"I'm fine, thank you (Y/N). I'm sorry I have to this, put you will be spending the lunch with me starting tomorrow, monitoring the other patients. We would have a early lunch together and we would have to make sure the other patients don't get themselves into any trouble." Erwin explained.

Eld held a frown on his face, but remembered that he still had her number.

"Um sure Erwin, anything that I can do to help you!" She replied. Smiling with her eyes closed, she looked like a perfect angel to him.

"Good, well I'm sure you have more patients to meet. Am I correct?"

"Yes Sir!"

"Great. Eld Jinn you will now be in Section six, the other side of the ward. Good day." Erwin said getting up before pulling up (Y/N) also.

He escorted her to the next patient she had to meet, she had four more patients left on her list. Two she would go through today, while the other two she would take of tomorrow. She possibly didn't have the time to take of them, as after lunch tomorrow se would have patient therapy. Where the patients would gather in a room and interact with each other, or course she had to monitor them as they were patients. Her next patient is named Bertholdt Hoover. The boy of the so called 'traitors', or at least that was what he previously described them as. She rearranged her button-up and walked to the next, prepared for what was thrown at her.
