Chapter 29: The sign

Jihyo's POV

I've really been stressing about Chaeng. Every second she's not in my watch I get paranoid. My sisters are the most important people in my life and I will never make it if something happens to them.

'Say Chaeng,' I called out to the cub who's busy watching tv.

'Hmm?'

'Would you ever want to meet you family again?'

She turned to me quikly.

'Why the sudden question, unnie?' She said returning her attention to the tv again. I scooched towards her and leaned my head on her shoulder,

'I mean, do you ever wanna know how they're doing and all that' I asked.

It took her a few seconds of silence before she answered.

'I mean yeah of course, they're my family so why wouldn't I want to know how they're doing?' She uttered. She does have a point tho.

'What if they want to take you with the-'

'Unnie' she cut me off. I looked up to her and saw a smiling cub.

'No matter what, I won't leave you, arrasso? You, Dahyunnie, Tzuyu, Jeongyeonnie and all of your friends are my family now. This is where I belong' she uttered which gave happiness in my heart.

I smiled and ruffled her hair before pulling her to my chest.

'Mianhae, unnie just loves you so much, she doesn't want you gone' I kissed her head.

'What are you doing?' The person asked snaeking up behind me, hugging me from behind.

'Just, I'm calculating how long will I ever pay back Jackson's dad' I responded.

She kissed me in my neck which made me feel tingly in my stomach.

'It's already been paid' she said.

'What? How?' I turned to her.

There, a grinning a Jeongyeon is out.

'I paid it. Me, Jackson, and Mark did' she responded.

'Why did you do that? Jeongyeon?' I facepalmed.

I can't have them save me all the time. I feel in debt and it's not a good thing, let me tell you all.

'What? I don't want you worrying about such thing. Worrying about Chaeng is more enough' She pulled me close to her, wrappinbf her arms around my waist. She then started showering my face then down to my neck and collarbone.

'You can't always save me from everything, you know. I don't always want to rely on you and your friends' I said.

She stopped kissing me and looked at me with a smile.

'As expected with Park Jihyo'

We smiled at each other, putting our foreheads against each other while gently looking at each other's eyes. I wrapped my arms around her neck and leaned in to kiss her,

Someone cleared their throat that starled us. Jeongyeon and I quickly let go of each other turned to the person....
