Chapter 13

Suddenly, The wooden Dam broke, and all water began to crash down, wiping out The Guards, Blue, and the Holts.

Tailor and Keith ran as a part of a cliff came crashing down.

They ran and made it in the cave, With Tailor grabbing the frying pan, as the cliff closed them in the dark cave.

The water began to fill in the cave as Keith and Tailor ran only to find a dead end.

The water kept rising has they tried to find a way out somehow.

Keith tried using his pan as Tailor dove in.

Tailor popped out as he tried to move rocks, which led him to cutting the palm of his hand.

"Aargh!" He winced.

Tailor dove down again only to quickly come back up.

"No use, Can't see a thing." He said.

Keith began to breath heavily as he  then dove down.

Tailor went after him and pulled him up.

"Hey! Keith! It's no use, it's too dark down there!" He said trying to calm Keith down.

Once Keith calmed, Red snuggled close as Keith had tears forming.

"I'm sorry... This is all my fault! I should've listened to My mom! I'm sorry I got you into this! Now we're going to die and-" Keith cried.

"I'm sorry Tailor..." Keith cried.

There was a bit of silence until...

"Lance..." Tailor said.

Keith sniffled. "What?"

Lance took a deep breath.

"My real name is Lance McClain.... thought you'd like to know before we drown." Lance said.

"Well... I have magic hair that glows when I sing..." Keith said.

"Wait what?" Lance said.

And that's what hit Keith.

His hair!

Why didn't he think of it before?!

"I have magic hair that glows when I sing! Why didn't I think of it before?!?" He said.

Keith... Buddy... We just said that.

Anyway, the water began to rise faster and once the water got to Keith's neck, he began to sing.

"Flower Gleam and Glow, let your power shine-" Keith and Lance then held their breaths as they both went under.

Keith's hair began to glow as he kept singingg it in his head.

Lance saw his hair glow and about freaked.

The light of the hair led them to some rocks.

They sawm towards the rocks and began to dig their way out.

Finally, Lance's hand stuck out as they continued to dig their way out.

Finally, All the rocks fell as Keith and Lance fell into the river.

They swam up and reached the shore.

"We're alive..." Keith said. "We're alive!"

"His hair glows! How does his hair glow?" Lance asked Red as Keith stood up.

"Lance." Keith said.

"Who said this was okay?!? How does the hair glow?!?" Lance kept asking.

"Lance..." Keith said.

"I think I'm going nuts! I've gone mad! What's happening?!?!" Lance said to Red.

"Lance!"

"What?!" Lance said.

"It doesn't just glow, I hope you know that..." Keith said as he began to ring the water out of his hair.

Lance looked over to see Red.

"Why's he staring at me?!?"
