Veronica POV

I'm going on my date with Betty today and I'm so nervous. I quickly get ready as I took way to long trying to pick out the perfect clothes. I dry my hair and put on the yellow pretty dress (cover page). I put on perfume when I hear the door bell ring. I jump up looking at myself one more time in the mirror. I run and open the door to see a beautiful Betty wearing a pink dress that shows off her curves and was perfect around her body making my mouth drool. Her hair was up in a perfect ponytail and her makeup was on point nothing wrong or out of place. She snaps her fingers at my face laughing.
"Veronica my eyes are up here" she laughs and I look at her eyes blushing.
"Sorry" I say softly
"Your just so beautiful" she walks towards me putting her hands on my face.
"You are the beautiful one..like wow look at you" she looks me up and down making my face heat up as her eyes search my body up and down.
"Stunning" she says leaning in close to my face. I smile as her lips met mine and we kiss lightly. A happy kiss.
"Veronica!" I jump as I hear my moms voice which in return betty laughs.
"Yes mom!" I say turning around my mom walks up to me.
"Who are you going out with?"my mom looks over my shoulder and she grins from ear to ear
"Hi Ms lodge" betty says waving.
"Hmmm have fun Veronica" my mom gives me a thumbs and I immediately go to Betty's side.
"Always knew it was betty you had a big crush on"
"Mom!" I Say grabbing Betty's hand to pull her away from my mom.
"Bring my daughter back by 12:00!"
"Of course Ms lodge, have a good night" my mom smiles and I close the door. I slowly turn my head to betty
"So you have a big crush on me?" She says smirking.
"Shut up" she takes my hand and we walk together.
"So you came out to your mom?" Betty says after a moment of silence.
"Yeah I told her I'm bi-sexual" I lean close to Betty's ear
"But I'm way more into girls" I say and Betty grins laughing softly.
"And you?" Betty sighs and nods her head
"A long time ago actually" I nod.
"How did she handle it?"
"To my surprise quite well before she got involved with the farm shit" Betty stays quiet and I know she wants to say more.
"I think what sparked her interest in the farm was me coming out" I sigh squeezing her hand.
"But it's fine I mean I've been fine by myself" I look at her and she just looks straight ahead.
"Let's go" she says pulling me to walk faster. I laugh as we go hand in hand. We get into her car and drive for awhile before arriving at a restaurant. Betty gets out and opens my door
"My lady" she says making me giggle. We walk into the restaurant and take a seat. We order and giggle it's probably one of the best nights of my life. After dinner betty and I get back into the car and drive.
"Where are we going, shouldn't I be getting home?"
"But look at the time" the time reads 11:00
"We still got an hour so let's spend it like we are going to lose it" I stare at Betty my eyes wide. Time seems to slow down when I'm with her you can say she's my rock. I smile at her and Betty drives up a hill. We soon hop out and Betty leads me through some bushes which is weird but there's an opening and it shows a beautiful cliff. Betty takes a seat and I sit down next to her.
"Wow" I say Looking out.
"Where are we?" I Say again and Betty leans on my side
"This is my hiding spot well I come up here all the time"
"So your secret spot?" She nods I lean my head on her shoulder and she wraps her arm around me.
"Thank you"
"For what?"
"For tonight"
"Anytime gorgeous" we sit in silence before I feel my heart beating out of my chest.
"Betty?" I Say and she looks at me.
"I like you" I say finally. She looks at me before a grin forms on her face.
"I like you too" I lean in kissing her. Feeling her beautiful soft lips against mine. She breaks apart
"Be my girlfriend?" I stare at her before attacking her face with kisses.
"Yes!" I Say now I'm on top of her. I lean slowly towards her face.
"I'll be your girlfriend" she smiles placing a kiss on my lips. Just than I pull away quickly.
"What?" She says. I grab my phone.
"Shit!" The time reads 11:50. Betty looks over my shoulder.
"I can get you home in 10 minutes"
"It should be fine" I say putting my hand on my face.
"No I'm not getting in trouble with your mom" she grabs my hand and we run to the car almost in slow motion we drive. When we get to my house we giggle and run all the way up to the door opening it. The house was dark and I sigh in relief.
"You know if you want you could stay a little longer?" I Say seductively turning around but Betty is looking at her phone.
"Betty?" She looks up putting a smile on her face and putting her phone back in her bag.
"Let's save it for another time love" I frown at her and she laughs grabbing my face
"Don't frown at me I'll see you tomorrow ok"
"Ok" I kiss her long and sweet. She smiles kissing my head and walking out. I want to follow her I want to know where she goes because to be fair I don't really know anything about her. It was only today she opened up. I sigh walking into my room kicking my shoes off. I pull out my phone and text Toni to see how her night is going.
