A/ N ok so just a quick thing I'm changing the format and will probably be making the chapters longer!

I quickly walk down the street not daring to look over my shoulder. My legs are starting to hurt from me pushing them. I'm doing this for a reason, this reason might be insane but I'm doing it so that I can get out of this situation.

I push my legs further. I should of changed out of this dress, why did I think coming there in a dress would be a good idea because now I'm stuck speed walking in a dress. I must be on crack or just in pure bliss at my new girlfriend that I forgot to think.

I hear footsteps from behind me getting louder by the second. I start to run in panic. I sped down the street making sharp turns until I see the familiar building. My destination, the building that is going to get me out of this fucking mess.

I run even faster slipping through the open fence and darting to the back door. I knock on it hard before looking behind me. No one was there and the only thing you could hear was my rapid breathing.

The door quickly opens revealing Kevin. He looked just as surprised as me.
"Betty?"
"Kevin?" We Stare at each other our eyes never leaving each other's face.

Snapping out of my confusing I push past him.
"What are you doing here?" He says quickly following me.
"I'm here to see your dad"
"About What?" He says pulling me by my arm to face him.

"I'm here to report that I know who killed Sweat pea"

Veronica plays with my fingers not paying much attention to the movie. To be fair this is like the fifth movie we have watched and it is Toy story 4 but I like this movie. I think it's sweet and funny.

Veronica sighs burying herself deeper into my neck. We were on the couch and she was leaning against my side with my arm wrapped around her shoulder holding her close.

I laugh at her action but don't take my eyes off the tv. Veronica mumbles something into my neck but I couldn't hear her.
"What?" I Say as she lifts her head and gives me lazy tired eyes.
"Are you laughing at the movie or me?" I give her a warm smile kissing her forehead.

"You" she gives me a quick smile before leaning her head back on my shoulder but in that I could see that she had something else on her mind.
"Is something bothering you?" I say and she lifts her head back up.

"Nothing" she doesn't look at me and that's how I know she is lying.
"Babe what's wrong?" I Say raising my one eyebrow. Veronica moves away from me but not by much.

"My mom and dad..." she chews on her bottom lip and looks up at the ceiling.
"They are getting a divorce" she says letting her gaze from the ceiling fall onto my face.

"Aww V I'm sorry, I'm sure everything will be alright" I Say giving her a little smile to reassure her but it didn't do the trick.
"I don't know betts they have been fighting a lot and than all of sudden they told me that they were getting a divorce" She says the sadness present on her face.

"Veronica, parents break up and there's not much us Kids can do about it. Some people just fall out of love, just look at my mom and dad. My mom divorced my dad after that whole crazy thing he did" her eyes find mine but I remember everything after that and how my life fell apart.

"And?" She says and I look back at the tv.
"And everything's fine" I say softly. I feel her hand grab mine and give it a tight squeeze.
"Look betts don't tell me everything is fine with your life when it really isn't"
"But it is, now at least" I say looking back at those dark brown eyes.

"Bett-"
"Veronica trust me I'm fine and you will be too. You're mom and dad love you. No matter what they will still be in your life, there not going anywhere" I say.
"Betts that's not what I meant-"
"Can we just leave it I don't want to talk about it" I say meaner than I should of. I hear her sigh and I breath in and out.

"I'm sorry, it's just a sensitive topic" I say feeling guilty for being mean. I look back at her and she nods her head. Her head was hanging low.
"Everything will be ok, V" I say taking her hand in mine and giving it a firm squeeze. Her eyes just look up and she gives me a small smile.

"Okay" she says but her phone beeps and she picks it off the table. She stares at the screen.
"It's my mom, she wants me at home" she says getting up and grabbing her shoes. She doesn't look at me and I sigh getting up and giving her a hug from behind.

"I'll see you tomorrow " I whisper into her ear. She turns around in my arms and I give her a smile.
"see you tomorrow" she leans in and I kiss her. It wasn't long enough but before I knew it her lips were gone and she was walking away.

I hope she is going to be okay. I'll admit it was hard when my mom and dad broke up and it did cause my life to crumple but I'm fine right?

I groan and fall onto the couch. I run my hand through my messy blonde hair. My phone rings from across the room and I think about not answering it but it might be the shierf with information.

I quickly get up and walk to the kitchen grabbing my phone and looking at the screen. It's jughead. I sigh but answer it anyway.
"Betty can you come and see me?" He says quickly like he wasn't even stopping to breath.

"Sure Jug, But is everything alright?"
"Yeah just come here as quick as possible"
"I'm on my way" I end the call and put my phone in my pocket. I rush off to the door putting my shoes on and grabbing my leather jacket from the hook.

I walk out locking my door and rushing off to my bike. I hop on and put in my helmet before starting it and driving down the street.

I shouldn't be doing this. I should trust her but something was up and here I am following the girl of my dreams or the girl I think is the girl of my dreams. If I get caught I don't know what she will do.

I stay far behind her as she takes sharp turns before driving a long road and stopping. I park my car far away from her on the side of the road. Luckily it was now late and my car could be hidden in the darkness.

I wait for a second watching her, the only light was coming from her motorbike. She takes off her helmet and puts it on her bike before walking into the darkness. This is my chance. I quickly hop out of my car thankful that I have sneakers on today.

I follow behind her while also ducking behind some trees. I see Betty approaching a fence and before I knew it she slipped through and disappeared. I look to my left and than my right before running at top speed through the hole.

Betty didn't go far and she didn't hear me either which was good. She walks far until I see a fire coming from in front of her. The more we walk the clearer I can see. There was a group of people they were serpents judging by there jackets.

I hide behind the tree and watch them closely my eyes mainly focused on Betty. Veronica turn around and leave, trust her, leave!

The voice in my head says but I ignore it. Maybe I went to fast with Betty and just jumped head first into this relationship when I should at least know more about her but I don't. That's what made me follow her. My mom really did text me and told me to come home but I told her I would be at Betty's till late and she believed me.

I hid for awhile and than saw Betty leave the house and I followed her. It's a bad thing I know I should  just leave. I close my eyes and breath in and out.

If you really like her you would leave. I tell myself I have to make a decision quickly before it's too late.
