"I got no obligation to answer you."
Slice
His arm fell to the ground, fletcher flinched.
"You are in no position to say what you can and cannot do." It was one of the other two to chop his arm of. Black light appears on his wound, connecting his should with his severed arm. The arm attached to his shoulder again.
"That's some strange regeneration, black light? It's a spell, isn't it?" She asked.
"No." He said through gritted teeth. He wasn't lying.
"Back to the subject, who gave you your power?" She asked.
"What?"
"Don't 'what?' me. There no way that you got the power by your self. Someone must have given it to you. Now, tell me who it was."
"I'm not-" she snapped her fingers. A Lance jabbed into his shoulder. Fletcher cried out in pain.
"You really don't have much of a choice, who gave it to you." She said.
"I'm not telling you anything." She snapped her fingers again. Red light covered the lance, a burning sensation chewed at the wound. It was painful. Fletcher yelled out.
"I'm not asking you again." Fletcher was passing out, but he flipped the little pieces he had left.
"I'm not......telling." Raven left the burning on the lance and turned to see her fallen members. Venus, as soon as Raven turned, ran to Fletcher.
"Fletcher!" She yelled, and ran into an invisible wall. As she ran into it, the area turned a slight green. Venus got up and pounded on the wall, tying desperately to get through with no avail. Victoria cam up to help her. She took a step back, and smacked the barrier a lot stronger, showing because of the wall turned green on the impact. Isa and Numica both ran to the wall, jumped and landed on top of it, with there blades out, slashing at it. Nova came up and started to itch a spell, fire. The spell got a thick green color, but didn't break. All five of them where trying to break through, to be able to get close to their friend.
It was heartbreaking for fletcher.
The girls stopped to catch their breath.
Their fighting for you, giving everything they got. They are trying to save you. What are you doing? Get up. Get up! GET UP!
Fletcher put his palms flat on the ground, and pushed off of it. The huge sword moved a bit. He pushed up more.
The sword got pushed back down. Fletchers hope dissapeared.
"It's not that easy." Fletcher felt sleepy. He was holding to what little consciousness he had left. He felt it slipping away.
"Would.....one last....wish?"
"Your joking? Why should I?"
"Because....for the sake....of a..dying friend."
"Friend?"
"We where....at some point."
"That's in the past."
"..........."
"Fine, but in exchange, I'll be taking your life."
"I'm willing.....to pay any.....price."
"Well, what do you want?"
"Let my....friends go."
"Deal."
Raven looked at him, almost, sad. A flame appeared in her hand, and out came her sword.
"I'll make it painless for you, old friend." She said.
"Thanks, Raven." Raven raised her blade. It felt as if time stood still. Everyone frozen. But it wasn't, to Venus's surprisement. The blade came crashing down on the neck of Fletcher. His head came clean off. A pool of blood dripped from his body.
Screaming came from the girls. Isa and Nova fell to their knees sobbing I to there hands. Victoria's eyes filled with tears. Numica stared at the ground with tears running down her cheeks. And Venus, she couldn't believe it. She had known that Fletcher wasn't using one hundred percent, so why would he die? Did he have a plan. All of her thoughts of the heartbreaking reality, Fletcher was dead, and there was nothing she could do about it. Venus felt a rage coming from the fireiy pits of her heart. He adrenaline was out of the norm.
"Ewww, their crying, what do we do, their annoying." Eye patch said.
"Go ahead and kill them." Raven asnwered.
The girls lifted their heads up.
"But..you said...you promised!" Nova yelled.
"I didn't mean it. Plus, he did a lot of devastation to HQ and my miner members. He got what he deserves."
"How can you be so, veil?!" Isa asked.
"Work is work, tough luck." Venus looked at her with the most anger she had felt in her life.
"Go ahead and kill them." She said.
"With pleasure." Eye patch said.
"No, you don't want us do die, do you?" Venus asked. Raven stood, back facing her.
"You had a tough time killing him. You really did have feelings for him. You didn't want to kill him. And now, you feel guilty." Raven dissapeared, Venus stood three inches off the ground suspended by Ravens hand around her neck.
"You can't tell me what I'm feeling, you don't understand." She said and tighted her grip.
"I'm right, of I weren't, you wouldn't be crying." She said. Raven widened her eyes and with her free hand touched her eyes. There was a tear. Venus took the moment to get free.
"Your out numbered." Raven said.
"Wha-" Venus heart touched her stomach. Blood. Lots of it. The bodies of her friends on the ground. She hadn't even heard screams or sounds. She feel to her knees. Her world seem to crumble around her. She had lost everything within five minutes. Venus could remember everything that happened. How they would talk. All six of them there time was short, bit full of life. How they went to the mall, how the met Isa and Numica. How Victoria should up put of nowhere, how Nova intempted to kill Fletcher, bit later grew on him too. It was all Fletcher, it was him who connected the small family together, it was all because of him. Fletcher had gone through hell without a single tear running down his face, he had gone through more pain them anybody can imagine. He deserved more then what he gotten. Venus eyes turned a dark red. A funny sensation could be felt all through out her body. She could feel as if something was filling her up. Raven eyes where bulging. Venus looked down at her hands, red light covered her palms and fingers. A huge burst of mana exploded from her body. Raven punched the ground, digging her hand in the ground to stop her from flying away. Some of her members where already gone.
"A cycle? But she a grounder." She said. After some time, the burst receded. An applause could be heard. It was Raven.
"Well done, I didn't think that you where hid-" she didn't finish. Venus dashed at her, too fast for Raven to see, Venus's fist dug into her stomach. Raven spit put blood. He body was severely damaged. Raven flew back what seemed like a mile. Venus went up to her friends, lying on the floor. She thank them for the joy that they have brought into her heart. She smiled at them, and looked at Raven. She was getting up. She casted a healing spell. From 4,900 feet away, Venus could still see her clearly. Raven looked at her while she was healing.
"She won't be able to get to me."
"Don't underestimate my speed." Venus said from behind her, Raven just barely dodged the blow that she would have landed right in her face.
"How did you-" Venus ran behind her, Raven kicked behind her, Venus fell to the ground and picked herself back up, hitting her leg with enormous force. Raven yelled out. She fell to the ground.
"Your a Skylander?"
"No I'm not."
"Then, how?"
"I don't know." Raven dissapeared. Venus looked around. She could see her running away, at the speed of sound. Raven had her limiter at 100% Venus ran to her in less then a second.
"Where you going?" She had said. She punched down on her. Huge chunks of land lifted up. Raven lied on at the bottom.
"Don't, kill me."
"You ask but don't give. It's not fair."
"Sorry."
"'sorry' isn't going to cut it." She said and jumped back. She started to make a huge spell in the air. Raven ran away. She had deployed some drones, sourounding her. The spell was white, streched for a couple of meters long. The spell casted, a light Ray dashed at Raven. Her drones deverged the light slight, Raven put up a sheild. The sheild shined green, and it shattered just as the Ray ended.
"Good job."
"Too slow." Raven said behind her. Venus's arm few, but instantly attached again
"Right back at you." Venus said, Raven leg broke off. Venus had only used her hand. Raven healing spell was much slower then her regeneration.
"Say goodnight." Venus yelled and went to punch her. She ended up picking the ground. Raven had vanished. Venus looked around to see her being carried by eye-patch
Venus wasn't going to let her go. She got stopped by the other members.
"Your going to get through us first." Claws said.
"Get out of my way." All five of them ran to her sides, and ran to her like that. Venus pit up a sheild around her, and another around the five.
"Too bad." She punched the ground, electricity ran through both walls shocking them at 200,000 volts. The sheild fell, and so did they. Venus looked around, and saw how far away they had ran. She was about to run there too, but a slight pinch could be felt in her ankle. A sword jabbed through her foot. Venus picked off the sword, no wound could be seen. Venus kicked the one who did it, and met her mid-flight, and punched down, slamming into the ground. Venus dashed off the ground and cought up the eye-patch and Raven. She looked over their shoulder.
"Too slow." She said and kicked the ground, a wave spread out, knocking the two out of balance. Raven seemed to be okay, she had healed, but eye-patch had brusies. Raven raised her arm at her, a light dashed at Venus, she put up a shield. The light was intense, so much so that she was sliding further away. Raven stopped after a couple of seconds. Venus walked slowly over to her. Raven put a hand into her ear.
"Start project L-21"
Pause
"Yes, NOW!"
She got grabbed by her neck, and pulled five inches off the ground.
"This is my friends." She said and puched her right in her chin at full force. A small wave of energy parted, Raven went flying upwards. Venus jumped up and met her.
"For my family." She said and punched down at full force. She fell, Venus darted down.
"And this is for me!" She said and kicked sideways. She slammed into a wall, starting where the normal people houses begain. Raven head was spinning, she lying with a blood stream dripping from her head. Venus appeared before her, and grabbed her hair, and pulled her up. She balled her empty hand.
"And this is for....Fletcher." she said. She was about to go all wrath out, but the ground started to shake. Venus looked at the ground. She looked around, and what looked like a huge robot, was growing from the ground a couple of miles away. It looked like a X-I unite, but a couple hundred times bigger. Raven started to laugh.
"Should have killed me when you had the chance. With an estimated power level of 2 million. The most powerful thing to exist." She said. Venus went to pick her, but she just punched air. The robot started move a bit. Venus couldn't feel the mana waves of it, meaning it was a robot, artificially made.
Venus couldn't calculate what to do.
2 million? What's mine? Fletcher couldn't beat her so I'm more powerful than him.?
The unite raise a arm, and pointy at her. It's finger started to glow brighter and brighter, charging. Venus put up a barrier, and two more. The effort seemed huge, but they appeared. The huge, thick light shot pit, and Venus though that there's no way that the barriers would support that. But they did. Actually, the first one, supported pretty well. She made sure to not make such an effort to make a barrier. The light subsided.
"My turn." She said. She put up her hands, and itched something in the air. Her hands where covered with a black flame, black magic. The flames big. She slammed them into the ground, the ground shook. The ground could be see moving in wave-like motions. They reached the unit, and the ground broke. It half fell in. The flames crawled all over it, and some circuits could be seen fried. It knocked out the power core. Raven was know begain to panic. Venus on the other hand, gave the widow today wip out the big guns. A small light begain to shine beside Venus. She stuck her hand in it, and with great force, brought it back, a bow in her hands. She looked around, no arrows. The thought of something. She put her hand up and over her should, to her back. When she brought it out, an arrow appeared in her hand. She brought it onto the bow and pulled on the string. The bow fit her perfectly, she took note as the arrow was pulled back to her ear. She let go, the arrow broke on impact. Venus a little disappoint. Then thoughts clouded her mind, so much her that it was at the brink of painful. Words in her mind, all giberish. She got another arrow, and said the words out loud.
"Mist, cula, secor, beber, hofle, zejer." The tip of the arrow glowed. She let go of it, the arrow shot. It split into dozen ones mid air, and made big dints in the metal, making it heavy too. Spells. she figured
She got another arrow, and pointed it upwards.
"Ceroz, metsi, cusl, leof, jeffe, bosed, oenta, nuempta, nxecus" she said. The whole arrow lit up, she let the arrow go. It fired up words. It broke off into hundreds and then came zooming down again. The arrows burst into flames, and turned bigger. It made some serious damage some made holes. Venus was getting curious, but also inpatient. She let the bow into the hole. She thought of spells to use with her hands. She could picture them. How to itch them, but they where unfamiliar.
What are these? The robot shook, trying to get up. It's was winning against the ground. She had to do something and quick. She dashed at the robot. She itched a spell. The spell encased her hand in orange light. Once she got on the robot, she touched the outer shell. The metal melted. She ran inside and sliced through all the cords and electrical stuff she could see. It was incredibly hot in the robot, so she had a time limit. She cut as fast as she could. She busted through the other side of it. She tan up to see the damage. Nothing. It seemed as she just touched it. The unit pushed himself out of the ground completely.
"Too bad, you damaged about a forth of the whole thing." Ravens voice could be heard. The units hand glowed. The light again, but it seems stronger, much stronger. And it was. She pointed it to her. Venus put up a barrier. The sheild itself was strong, but the light was on par. The light shot out, and hit the sheild. The sheild shoved back at Venus. She was holding that thing with her dear life. The light pushing her down. She got down to one knee. She looked down, pushing with her might.
I'm going to die
Then
Venus felt the most horrifying sensation she has ever felt. So bad, it felt like physical pain. She got much more scared at the sensation that the danger she was in. The light didn't stand a chance to the mana waves she was feeling. She couldn't even look behind her to see what it was.
"Looks like there's someone," Venus has heard this voice before, she instantly recegnized it.
"Who's got the balls to challenge me!" It said. The light ray broke.
"What th-" the unit was nocked back, and was getting pounded. Venus saw who it was.
No way
It was Fletcher.
But I saw him, I saw him die!
Her eyes where wide open. The figure jumped back to where Venus was. But then, he wasn't Fletcher also.
"Who are you?" Venus asked. The person started to laugh, but then he looked serious.
"Oh, your being serious?" He asked.
"What, just because my hair and eye color change mean you don't know me?" He said. Venus could see Fletcher in there. But this person had a evil look and mana waves that where depressing. Venus got up from her knee, he helped her. Venus then remembered when Fletchers strand of hair changed to navy, which was the hair color of this person, with shining red eyes. And he was taller then Fletcher. His shirt was ripped because of his muscles bulging out.
"Fletcher?"
"Bingo!" He said and did finger guns.
"But, how?!"
"Don't sweat the details." He said. The unit was standing back up. The the robot stood up to Fletcher. The two greatest, the best of the best. Face to face. A fight that would go down in history, to the years to come.
And so, it did.
