Bucky was standing in his bathroom fixing his bow tie. He groaned as he kept messing it up and he shook his head. Bucky was married but he ended his marriage when he found his now ex wife in bed with another alpha his brother earlier this year. His wife Laurel would always do his bow ties now he was living in the penthouse they once shared alone. He grabbed his keys and phone put them in his pocket. He put his watch on then headed three blocks away from his penthouse.
He knocked on a door of a brownstone Winnie answered the door. "Honey when do you ever have to wear a tux to eat dinner with me and your daddy?' Winnie said
"Mom help me" he said
She let him in she started to fix his tie when his dad walked in. "Where are you going that has you dressing like this?' James said
"Governor's Ball." Bucky said
Winnie said "Okay all done baby."
"Mom..I am not a baby please don't call me that." he said
Winnie rolled her eyes "You will always be my baby rather you like it or not." Winnie said
"I have to go." he said
"James.." James said
"Yeah dad" he said
"Don't be dis respectful to your mother she may be an omega but she is still your mother." James said
Bucky walked over to his mom and hugged her. "Sorry mom." he said

Meanwhile across town on the upper east side was fashion designer Elle Kate who was laying in her big bath tub with hot water and bubbles. She finally got out and started to get herself ready for the ball. She curled her dirty blonde hair then put her dress on after she did her makeup.

As she was walking down the stairs of her brownstone she received a text from her driver that he was outside. She put her keys and phone and compact and lipstick in her clutch then headed out the door.
She got down the stairs he opened her gate then the door of her limo. She got in the limo and headed towards the city. Bucky was almost to the gala in his limo Elle finally made her way into the gala limo line. It was finally her turn her limo driver opened the door and helped her out.
Then she stepped onto the red carpet and the paps went crazy with the camera flashes. Elle flashed her smile as she posed for pictures. She finally made her way into the party Bucky was with his friends and business partners. Bucky was holding his glass of scotch and he popped a grape into his mouth.
His nostrils flared Steve said "Buck.."
Bucky scanned the room "What's wrong?' Sam said
"A omega..but where is she? Cause she's trying to hide it." Bucky said then eyes landed on a navy blue dress "She's not hiding well with a dress like that." as he tapped on Nat's shoulder.
"You know all the big wigs more than I do. Whose the girl in the navy blue dress talking to the governor's wife and Pepper." Bucky said
"Oh that's Elle Kate James she owns her own fashion line called Elle Kate. She's talking to the wife cause she personally designs their dresses for things like that." Natasha said
"She's gorgeous.." Bucky said
"And she's notoriously known for being a private person James.." Wanda said
Elle was laughing along with Pepper and the governor's wife as they talked about their daily lives. Bucky watched her all night long as she mingled and he sat back on his chair Sam said "Dude you are going to cause yourself to go into an early rut if you don't stop."
"I want her..I need her Sam.." he said through labored breathes
"You need to go home and take a cold shower dude." Sam said
Bucky finished his drink and went to get some air. He was standing in the alley pacing when Natasha came out. "You alright." Nat said
"Not really no.." he said
Nat walked over to him "hey look at me.. you are losing it you and Laurel ended after a year and half of trying. I told you that you two were moving to fast six months after dating her you proposed you can't move that fast." Nat said as she put his forehead against hers.
"Nat I'm lonely I had to have my mom tie my bow tie tonight cause I don't know how." he said
"You are an alpha James you need to let go of the hurt." she said then she felt his hands slid down to her ass. He started to kiss her neck "Let me fuck you." he whispered

He looked at her and looked down. "You and I don't work especially now I'm married to Steve and we slept together two years ago Bucky and you know that Maxie Grace is yours and I have to lie to Steve. We can't have sex together." she whispered
"I'm sorry Nat." he said remembering when Nat came to him shortly after they slept together cause she was in heat at work and Steve was on a business trip and he got her pregnant.
He went back into the party and got another drink just as Elle was getting a vodka cranberry. Her omega scent was strong with a mix of the coconut perfume she was wearing. Bucky finished off his drink and went to his table. "I'm going home.." he said as he took suit jacket. He left the party and went home.
