Meet the Family

"Los Angeles the city of angles." Said Mr.Nobody stepping off a plane.

"So where to first." Asks Steve Rogers.

"1397" said a gruff voice walking out of what Mr.Nobody hinted at was going to be their ride.
Steve turns to see a huge man with a hand reached out.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Cap. The name's Luke Hobbs I'll be joining you on this mission." Said Hobbs genuinely glad to be meeting Captain America.

"Nice to meet you Luke, please just call me Steve." Said Cap glad to be shaking a firm handshake of a fellow military man.

"The team is at Toretto's house." Said Hobbs

"You've got the bait ready?" Asks Mr.Nobody

"Ready and set." Said Hobbs as he opened the door for Steve.

"Wait you need to bait your team to get them on missions?"Asks the Captain clearly confused.

" They just need a little incentive." Said Hobbs.

Arriving at Toretto's house the smell of barbecue hit Steve like no other. He could hear the excitement a mile away and the family vibes coming off the house reminded him of the family he back then even if it was in the military.

"Hey guys we need to talk. Where's Dom and Brian?"  Asked Hobbs.

"Who's the blonde you've got over there Hobbs?" Ask Tej.

"You know you can't do that Brian'll get jealous! Gahahgaha" said Roman cackling at his own joke. "I'm mean you can't just replace Brian like that."

Taking  a quick sweep of the land Cap stepped forward and stretched out his hand to anyone who would take it.

"Hey, I'm Steve Rogers." Said Cap.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Said Ramsey taking his hand in a flash.

"So this is your team?" Asks Cap.

"Team? Wait... No..no..no.nononono. No freaking way in hell am I doing another job." Said Roman realizing what the visit was for. "We are not breaking into Interpol or some shit."

"Just tell me where Dom is." Said Hobbs

Taking another swig of her beer Letti stands up and says, " we are gathered here today to watch and bet and have some fun. So either you guys put some money on the table or leave."

Hobbs stood in silence with Steve on his right speechless and Mr.Nobody on his left finally spoke up.

"So what are we betting on. And I'm just saying this now but if I win you guys are all converting to Belgian beer for the rest of the day."

"Bring it on!" Said a voice through tablet.

"Dom and Brian are racing their custom minivans. Dom with the American muscle and Brian with his imports." Stated Tej filling them in in the race.

"They wanted a safe but fast ride for me and the kid and so men being men they decided to make it a competition." Said Mia speaking up.

Looking at the GPS tracking system on the tablet showing two dots on a road both about the same speed Mr.Nobody said, "I put ten grand on Brian."

"Traitor, you know I save your life once." Said Dom through the tablet.

"A dad knows best." Said Mr.Nobody.
