Camping

Night 1

"Where is she?" I yelled. Everyone was back at camp. "I don't know" Hannah replied. "I saw her get in the bus and drive away!" Callan commented. While we were busy exchanging stories, the sun went down. We decided that we could survive 3 nights without adults. We had pre cooked food, and shelter. 

We ate dinner, then I lit a fire. We all sat around it making s'mores and eating marshmallows. Callan was just about to tell scary stories when I heard a CRACK!

"What was that?" I asked, looking worried. "Probably just an animal." Mia replied. Everyone nodded their heads. I decided to agree with them, so we went on with telling scary stories. It was about to be my turn to tell a story when I saw a figure coming towards us. It looked like a person... "RUN!" I screamed. Everyone turned their heads and looked towards the figure. Quickly, they scrambled away into the darkness. I remembered back to when I went exploring. I knew there was a cave somewhere. I was running as fast as I could, but then I tripped on a root. I crashed to the ground, feeling pain shoot across my arm. Knowing that "it" would get me if I stayed there, I got up and kept running. In about 20 seconds, I heard screaming behind me. I looked back. Mia was there, and she kept looking behind her shoulder and screaming,  until a shadow covered hand reached out and grabbed her hood. All of the screams went silent. I tried not to think about it as I ran into the cave. 

Kelly, Hannah, Callan and Jonah were already there. I sat down in silence. About 3 minutes later Avery came through the entrance. "Where's Mia?" She asked as she sat down. "Um" I said, not wanting to make people get even more scared. "I saw 'it' take her." I murmured. Callan gasped. Hannah started to tear up. "C'mon guys" Avery said. "We need to move on if we are going to survive." 

Everyone was too sleepy to respond. It was raining out. HARD. We sat there for 10 minutes before we all fell asleep.
