Chapter 02: "Cool Gang"

I have a best friend named Skylar, I call her Skye. She was the only person I've ever truly trusted the most besides my brother and I could tell that she wasn't faking anything. She wouldn't do that because she knows all the shit in my life and all my past "bestfriends".

Skye has a jerk ass brother named Ash. He was known as the school's bad fucking boy. I hate those kinds of people, they annoyed me really really bad. He was an ass to everybody, especially me. And to make things worse, whenever he's around, Skye goes into shipping frenzy for no reason! Like, she knows I hate her brother to the core yet she still does this. Does she know something? I mean he is her brother but he's very.... Protective.... Of his information.

Even though she did that, Skye was the only person who'd been helping me my whole life. You may be wondering, how come she hasn't been your best friend your whole life then? Well, Skye wasn't always around because she always had to move to different places because of her mother. She went with her mother and we still had contact and I didn't really believe in calling someone a best friend if you barely BARELY see them. On the other hand, Ash stayed here with their father.

At first, he was the quiet kid. He would only talk if Skylar was around. I don't know why, but that was the case back then, don't ask me, I'm not him. And so whenever Skylar left he always got bullied by the "Cool Gang" And I wanted to help him but everytime I got the chance, they'd push me away saying I shouldn't be a part of it.

One of the people that used to bully Ash is well, still a bully but plot twist, Ash's girlfriend. -...- Yeah, I know, what the fuck?! Am I right? I honestly don't know what happened between their parents and why they made them date but I guess if he's happy now then... Eh, he's happy and that's all that matters.

Oh by the way, the cool gang consists of these people:

Karen. She's Ash's girlfriend, also known as the bitch who commands everyone to do what she wants. She loves to bully people, especially me. She has complete power over everybody just because she's... I actually don't know why people are scared of her. I mean, her mother was a former mayor but that was in the past so I don't get why people bow down to her. Oh I think I forget to mention, she's a cheating whore. I've seen her cheat on Ash millions of times and whenever Skylar tries to tell him, he wouldn't believe her. Well, to be honest, since they're just forced, he wouldn't care so yeah..No shits given.

Ryan is the jock of the group. He always and when I say always, I mean ALWAYS brags about how "muscular" and "amazing" he is. I mean I've seen better, much better. Anyways.... He's kind of an ass although I would rather call him very cocky than being a total jerk ass. He just brags a lot and he always plays the girls. I don't get why they even fall for him. :/

Samuel is also a jock but he's more on the smarter side. Sure he can brag but not about how good he looks, just how smart he is. Oh and, he does brag but not as much as Ryan does. Even though Sam is smart, he's the "Let's go to a fucking party and get hungover tomorrow!" Kind of person. I mean both the boys are but Ryan is more of the, "I'll fuck you when I'm drunk enough and leave you when I'm done." Kind of person... So yeah.

Jackie.... Alright I must admit, she's the boring one of the group(no offence to her). She usually just follows Karen around and does what she says. She's very clumsy and can pass the shade to people if she does something wrong.

Anyhow, enough of them. Tomorrow is the first day of senior high so I wonder how that goes...

THE NEXT MORNING

"Lydia!" Liam shouted. "Lydia, wake up! Wake up! You have to go to school today. It's your first day!"

Lydia's POV:

I keep hearing someone call out my name... I'm still tired so I decide to keep my eyes shut. I can't really hear them clearly so I listen carefully to the voice.... I think.. I think it's Liam? He's telling me to wake up. I slowly open my eyes to see Liam about to pour water on my face.

"Liam what the hell?!" I said. He replied, "Well, you wouldn't wake up so I thought..." "No. Pouring. Water. On. My. Bed." I answered back snarkily since I'm still kind of grumpy after waking up.

"What time is it?" I asked. "It's about six o'clock in the morning, get ready for school Lydia." Liam answered. I groaned after knowing how early in the morning it is. I don't like waking up very early! Maybe at around eight or nine is fine but six? Ugh.... Liam rubbed my hair and chuckled. He knew I hated getting up this early. He reassured me and said, "I know how it feels like. I've been there before to get where I am now remember?" And I just nodded.

I finally stood up and took a shower. I dried my hair, put it up in a ponytail and dressed up in my uniform. I got my books and put them in my backpack. After doing so, I walked out of my room to see Diana putting the food on top of the table. I also see Caylus just playing with his toys in the living room which is beside the kitchen. Yes, I live with my brother. Our parents... Um.. Well, they kicked me out. After Lisa left, it was just Liam and I while Diana took care of Caylus in her parents' house. Liam tried to work very very hard just so he could get out of that house and have his own with Diana and Caylus.

Liam didn't like our parents and so did I. They haven't been the best and they've been acting very suspicious. So about halfway through my first year of highschool, my parents saw my grade dropping. It wasn't even a lot, trust me. It was from 99 to 98. Like, what the hell? They said that if they catch me going out without their permission, they'll kick me out. So, I always asked for their permission. There was this one time I asked and so yeah, I went out with Skylar. I came back home to see them drunk as hell. They were just on the sofa smiling at each other and when I came in they scolded me for going out without permission aaaand yeah I got kicked out. And ever since then, I've been living with my brother Liam.

"Breakfast is ready guys!" Diana said. I greeted her a good morning and Liam rushed down the stairs kissing her a good morning kiss. I started eating and not to my surprise, they were still kissing. ._. Gross guys. Liam carried her and put her on the counter. I couldn't stand it so I was going to walk to school and before I left I told them to get a room before they leave my dear nephew scarred for life.

As I reached school, I saw Skylar with Ash outside. While I was walking to her, she ran to me and hugged me. This girl, I swear. Skylar screamed and said, "Lydia!!!!!" And as soon as she did that I hugged her back and when I put my head over her shoulder I caught Ash looking at me. Probably because she's his sister and she's hugging someone he hates for dear life, totally no biggie.

She let go of me because she realized I zoned out. She quickly turned around and caught Ash. When he saw her turning around, he faced Karen and started to kiss her randomly, although what he doesn't know is that Skylar still caught him. She screamed out his name and told him to go over here. I was shocked because he actually listened. Skylar whispered something to him and pushed me towards him. Oh shit...
