Remus yawned getting up looking at the male asleep next to him and how his dark hair was spread across a pillow.  He sighed getting up from bed and walking over to the room next to the one him and his husband shared. He opened the door softly and saw a sandy blonde haired girl looking at a picture book. The girl looked a lot like Sirius but she had Remus's unruly hair and the same curse Remus carried...

"Hey sweetie, what are you doing up?" He said picking the girl up onto his lap. "Hi Daddy!" She said hugging Remus tight and then saying softly, "I wanted to wead the book wou and Papa got me westerday!" She smiled at her father lightly. Remus cutely kissed the girl on the top of her head as he thought the 3 year olds pronunciation of some words was so cute! "Well since it's the holidays, we get to go over to Aunt Lily and Uncle James's House." Remus said which made the girl giggle. "Yay! Hawwy and I were going to catch Santa Cwaus this year!" She said.

Remus gave a genuine smile and looked at the little girl in the eyes. "Ok but if you don't catch him before 7pm then you have to go to sleep!" Remus said making the girls frown. "Okay..." She said sadly but then lit up again. "Can I go wake up Papa?" She pressured and Remus smiled and then nodded helping her off her bed. "I'll go make breakfast then!" He said watching as the little toddler trotted off into the room next door to hers. The little pushed the door open and saw a messy lump of sheets and a shirtless male on the bed. She softly crawled onto the bed and poker her dad softly. "Papa are wou awake?" She said softly and the male turned to face her. 

Sirius grabbed her and placed her on his chest giving her a soft kiss on the cheek. Hey Ven! How's my little girl doing?" He said in a husky morning voice. "Okay! Hungry! But Daddys alweady making bweakfast!" She said softly.  The little girl smiled and held up the book that was a rather big book for a three year old and Sirius looked intrigued. "I finished the book you and Daddy got me!" The girl said which made Sirius smile.

Sirius shook his head softly at how alike the little girl was to Remus. "Did you enjoy it Pumpkin?" He said using the cute nickname he had for his daughter. "Mhm! Can I get a bigger one next time we go to the Scrivenshaft's Quill Shwop? They have awesome books!" She said beaming at her father and he smiled. "As many as you want." He said before helping her down off the bed as he picked her up and walked into the kitchen. Remus was grabbing plates and putting them on the table as they walked down.
