Tae's Baby - Taegi

I woke up first and removed my finger from my Hyung's mouth before getting out of bed and getting ready for the day. He frowned in his sleep and grabbed the nearest thing, a pillow, to cuddle. Again, there was the problem of him being fairly small and he tried to squish the pillow down to make it smaller but it wouldn't work. He was even too small to do what he wanted in his sleep.

I washed and groomed and messaged into our groupchat to ask about breakfast. I sat on the edge of the bed as I typed and felt Yoongi-Hyung stir in his sleep behind me. I honestly kind of missed the feeling of him sucking on my finger, but I pushed that weird thought out of my mind.

Not for long though as I remembered how small his mouth was and started thinking of getting him a little dummy. Surely I couldn't just give him something meant for babies without him knowing, that's crazy, right?

Then again, I did just spend the night with my finger in his mouth and it's not like there's a way for him to find out about that.

I decided on getting him one and looked up stores nearby since I wasn't at all familiar with the country let alone the city I was in. There was a baby shop in the mall just around the corner, if I convinced the boys to go shopping then I could slip in and out of that store without them noticing.

My phone buzzed and I read the message on the screen.

SPUDHEADS

SJ: Pretty sure the others are still sleeping, most of them at least. Maybe check out a cafe or something at that mall around the corner for brunch??

SJ: That way we can go shopping too

Sweet, I didn't even have to convince them, Jin-Hyung organised it for me. I started thinking about maybe getting other stuff, it may look a bit strange to walk into a baby store and only buy a dummy.

TH: yeah sounds good

I put my phone in my pocket and switched on the tv that was in our room, there wasn't anything decent to watch. I found Tom and Jerry on the kids channel and just left that on, better than nothing. I wasn't really watching it, my eyelids started drooping a bit, I was still pretty tired.

*Yoongi*

I sat up in the bed, noticing the cartoon playing on the tv in front of me, Tom and Jerry? I used to love watching that when I was little! Little as in young and also from when I used to slip into littlespace.

I didn't fail to notice Taehyung sitting on the couch, although he seemed asleep or at least pretty close to it. As I watched one of my favourite childhood shows I could just about feel myself slipping.

No! I can't. I was doing so well, I hadn't been little in years, that was no longer a part of me. I'd gotten rid of that for good, a long time ago.

So I stood from the bed and grabbed the remote, sadly turning it off, maybe if I just slipped a little b-

"Yoongi-Hyung?" Hyung. That's right, I'm a Hyung, not a little. Now I just had to work on believing that again, one stupid cartoon screwed up all my hard work of getting rid of that part of myself.

"Morning, sunshine." I said teasingly, ruffling his hair.

We left the cafe, I was full from my croissant and wanted to go home already but they wanted to shop. That's fine by me, maybe I could see if Jungkook could buy me another jacket.

I needed a warm one, all mine were too thin and it was starting to get really cold. We entered the clothes store and went our separate ways, me following Jungkookie.

I noticed Taehyung turning around to leave the store we'd just entered but thought nothing of it, he obviously just wanted to go to a different store. So I turned back to catch up with Jungkookie.

*Taehyung*

I wanted to get more than just a dummy but knew to start off small, I decided on also getting a little teddy, little cutlery and maybe a baby plate.

His mouth wasn't too small for normal spoons, he just preferred the teaspoons. Whenever we had to use a spoon he would always use them because they were so small.

I didn't even realise that I'd need to come up with a way to get him to use it. I didn't know why I wanted him to use baby things either, but I just rolled with it.

I found a pack that had 4 dummies; blue, pink, green and yellow. All had transparent bits on them and looked simple enough. I got a set of colourful, plastic children's cutlery and matching plates, then made my way to the toy area, looking over all the plushies they had.

One caught my attention and it was unclear why, the teddy in question was just a simple pink bunny that looked very soft.

Even if I didn't know why I was drawn to it I picked it up and placed it with the rest of the stuff I'd gotten.

I paid for everything, ignoring the strange look from the cashier, and left the shop. I went and bought something from another shop just to use the bag. That way they wouldn't see what I'd gotten since I could hide it in the bag from that other shop.

I was excited for that night, I'd get to see if my sleeping baby Hyung would like his new gifts. I joined the others in the first store they had gone to and couldn't stop smiling at the thought of giving Yoongi-Hyung his dummy.
